The Saints have no head coach, no GM for the first half of the season, and the Rams need to hire a new defensive coordinator.

Peyton Manning decided that he'd rather play for John Elway then Jim Harbaugh. And Tim Tebow goes to the Jets.  Or does he?

Peyton's done. He was done before he went for surgery honestly.

I careSmile

The just heard about the suspensions...they deserve it.

I am not so happy about Peyton going to the Broncos being as they are AFC division rivals, but it will make AFC West a little more interesting.  I have not been to excited about my Chargers, they already lost Vincent Jackson, and they are gonna lose Tolbert too.  I like Tolbert.  I don't think I am going to be seeing anyone interesting coming to the Chargers.  The Raiders are going to have a new coach, and I am not sure who they or the Chiefs will have as QB?

I guess Manning must look ok after his surgery.  He did get a nice multi-year contract.  I wonder if it was Denver or Tebow's decision to leave.  Tebow might have done well spending a year under Manning.  So who will start for the Jets- Sanchez or Tebow?

So Alex Smith having the potential to be thrown to the curb for Manning visited Miami, but he signed a three year contract after Manning signed with Denver.  I know Smith isn't a great QB, but he did lead his team to the Conference final.  I am glad Manning did not go to the Niners.

AFAIK, the Raiders are still stuck with Carson Palmer, since they let Campbell get away.

They just dropped an extra $20M to extend Dirty Sanchez's contract; he'll start and The Tebow One will be the backup/Wildcat QB.  And it was Denver's decision.  They couldn't keep someone as popular asx Tebow along with Manning.  Peyton wouldn't have stood for it, and the Bronco fans won't if Peyton doesn't live up to the hype.  A friend of mine posted a meme on FB today: "In order to win the Super Bowl... the Broncos sacrificed a virgin."

The biggest (current) knock I'm hearing from the Niner faithful is that he doesn't have the arm strength to make the most of Moss and Manningham.

It's official.  Tebow's off to the Big Apple.

Man, I posted a thread about the Saints before you did!  Thunder stealer!

I don't think Manning is done.  Elway is no idiot and he knows quarterbacks.  Aside from that, Peyton worked out for what, three teams?  He passed all physicals and his decision to go to Denver made the other teams sad, not happy.  I think he's back enough to at least make a go of it.  And the best thing about him is that he's no Tebow.  You know, cuz he can throw the ball.

I wonder what Brees is gonna do now.  I mean, he refused the franchise tender a while ago and wants a long term deal.  Thing is, the front office has some other pretty major stuff to worry about right now.  Could be he gets stuck in limbo.  Then again, they could also see locking him up now as more important than ever.  Interesting stuff.

And the New York Tebows?  Man, I can't wait 'til Sanchise sucks enough to get Tebow put into the game.  I have a feeling the Jets will be an even bigger mess than last year.  And that's awesome.  Anyone know if they paid Denver the $5 mil they were askin' for in the Tebow deal?

I didn't notice it until after I started this thread.  People decided to respond to this one, not yours.  So obviously they like me more.

The Niners went after him pretty hard, including grabbing a couple of good-to-great WRs to complement Crabtree.  They were looking for a QB with an arm... and got stuck with Smith.

Hopefully he demands a trade to SF.

You didn't read the link in the post before yours, did you?  Oh, and, if your work comp lets you, look up Rex Ryan's reaction to Tebow on the website Busted Coverage.

The only way Brees could get to SF this year is by trade so ... you're stuck with Smith.

No love on the blog, I'm afraid.
