Mar 05, 2010 13:56:00 Cheers, my father put down our German Shepard almost five years ago now, and I still think about that old bloke fondly and frequently. Thankfully, you learn to accept the inevitable and move on, remembering the joy they brought into your life. My folks, when I visit them, still own a Border Collie/Shepard mix, and a little beagle. I love those girls as dear as anything else in life; makes the SO jealous when we go down to visist and I pay more attention to my "other girls" then my "main girl".
