3D scans of your face for Valentine's Day, eh?  I wonder ... I wonder if they can scan and print anything else ...

So...
Should I be deceiving and go against my nature and be nice this Valentines Day and buy my ol' lady a nice gift?
Or should I be my usual miserable and hateful self and be aggravated and surly all day on Valentines day?

Buy her a gift.

And then...
Be angry & surly because you wasted money on her.

I think Valentine's Day (also known as VD) is stupid.  Luckily so does my wife.  Instead of wasting money on gifts we waste money on a nice dinner.  That way we don't have to look for stuff to buy or find the time to do it.  I like it cuz it means I don't have to remember anything.  Pretty sweet deal here Wade.

EDIT: Some friendly advice for RH: Wayne Gretzky!!  Check the urban dictionary for it.  Number 11.  ;)

But instead of a hocky stick, can we call it a "Barry Bonds" (or Double B) and use a bat instead?

I don't see why not.  At that special moment just shout 'Barry Bonds!' and your pals can do the rest.

My boyfriend and I go to a movie and then out to eat. Sadly this year our movie will have to be moved to the next day since he works from 4-12 so we can only do one or the other. Our first Valentine's Day he got me flowers, we went out to eat and I gave him a card my grandparents made. My grandmother writes poetry and my grandfather does the calligraphy on them. It puts a smile on my face when they give me poetry for holidays and was sweet I got to give him my grandma's poem for Valentine's. Yeah, its holiday that's a waste of money but I really don't care because I like going out on dates and we don't really get to do that too often. The movie we'll see this year will probably be the new Die Hard movie. I wanted to see one of the girly movies but my boyfriend told me Die Hard comes out on V Day, haha. We've been waiting forever for it to come out, haha!

We don't try to do anything on the day itself cuz every other idiot has the same plan.  We're going out tomorrow night, actually.  Makes things even easier.

We'll go out during the day instead of night. He forgot to ask off, lol. I wasn't going to ask him to ask off though anyway. It just doesn't seem to be the kind of holiday you do that for unless you have something big planned.

haha I like people so I don't mind people-y holidays. We do matinees for movies now since they are cheaper and usually there are no chatty teens to ruin the movie.

Well, I hate people.
I can't stand to be around them.
It's why I don't go to concerts and Steeler games... and bars, circuses, and conventions.

I can't stand being in/ around crowds of people.

People suck.  I do prefer matinees, too.  Too bad my friends are idiots and insist on seeing movies the day they come out.  We're in our mid to late thirties.  No reason to 'have' to see the damn things when they come out.  Oh, and they show up late cuz there's previews.  It's like dood, opening night the place will be packed and getting a good seat is impossible if you're late.  That's why I don't see many movies.

We rarely ever see the movie as soon as they come out. We prefer matinee and then back to our friend's for some dnd or magic. I see no reason to get to it the same day unless its going to be hard to get a ticket in which case we reserve for whatever time we plan to go. There are some we flock to such as batman, star trek, etc. Even then we still prefer the matinee since our past few times at the night showings were filled with annoyances from the younger crowd.

You and I are practically never on the same page but this appears to be an exception, sistah.  I feel ya.

Oh, except for the after movie activity.  I prefer 'go to bar, drink enough to forget movie'.  ;)

Lol, I don't like bars. I can't handle smoke and I find bars boring, tbh. If I drink its either at home with friends and family or at our friend's house. Also I prefer knowing no sprite, 7up or mt dew is in my drink... lol.

Here in Ohioistan, we are not allowed to smoke in bars.  Dear Leader says so.  ;)

Bars can certainly be boring.  I go to a place my friend's mom owns and we usually roll pretty deep.  When you have enough people there, it's a good time.  House parties are always better, though.

I don't go to bars for a number of reasons.
1)Too many people
2)Too many youngsters
3)Too expensive
4)Too loud

I prefer drinking at home. I have all the entertainment I need.

I like house parties better. It doesn't take much for me to get loaded. Its rare that I actually go out somewhere to drink. I don't mind going to a restaurant and having a drink with a meal or something though. Its generally more fun to drink when playing some sort of game. Oh yeah, I'll bet its more fun for you since you the person who owns the bar you go to. My bf's mom knows the people at the local moose she goes to so she has a lot of fun there. I didn't have much fun and only went when my bf's cousin was bartending several times. Then she was like, "Why aren't you drinking?". I told her I was drinking Cherry Coke, haha.

Yeah, it helps to know the bartenders and owners an' stuff.  Makes it better.  I don't know how much longer I'll be going to bars, though.  I mean, I'm pretty much right at the limit for 'creepy old dood' age.  ;)
