| #1tigervirgoJun 21, 2008 17:23:39 | BAM! Welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your black dragon host; Emeril Leggosee Draco. Today, I'm going to show you the best ways to cook those damn pesky dwarves. You know what I'm talking about! Those small, broad humanoids that love to mine into your caverns or hide-outs & steal your riches. Talk about brave! But, Mmmmm, they are sooo good! Ok, first thing is first. How do you entice those pests into a trap, but don't ruin the meat? I prefer the old "hiring them" approach. Of coarse this takes creativity and spells. But if done right, you'll be eating for months. Now, you simply polymorph yourself to look like those stumpy looking humans and enter a small local town or village where they hangout together & drink until they are dumb. Trust me, you don't want the drunk ones cause they are easy pickings. Eating those intoxicated brutes leaves a bad after taste in your mouth that you'll have to scrape off with a bastard sword to try to remove the foul taste from your tongue. Talk about gross. And, gassy too. As you enter the town, portray yourself like a victim who wishes to seek revenge on that "evil" dragon. Oh yes, you must use nasty words to describe yourself cause it stirs their blood up more for revenge. And, we all know how adrenaline makes the meat taste more wild & flavorful. Mmmmmmmm, revenge tasty. Offer a hefty price up front to ensure they would take the challenge. Now, I hear allot of dragons shocked at offering some of their riches up front. Trust me, when they arrive, you'll not only get the wealth you offered them, but more. Sometimes nice magical items too. Usually by the next day, these hardy humanoids are ready to become your dinner. I usually travel back home after I announce & pay them for their "services". Sometimes its best if you pay in advance for delivery. Other dragons I know will travel with them and pounce when they can. It all depends on your tastes. However, its difficult to get those little buggers to salt & season themselves with eleven herbs & spices that enhances their flavor even more. Oh yes, trust me, spices work. Make sure you have your seasonings laid out properly. I prefer to surround my eleven herbs & spices on the floor around me, so when I bash them "BAM" with my tail or claw, they easily rub into the seasonings and add that extra flavor you desire. After they are weakened and seasoned to your desire, just pop those little suckers into your mouth and enjoy. And, if your lucky, the tall tales of the "evil" dragon continues to circulate within the community bringing you fresh meat for months to come. I'm Emeril Leggosee Draco, and I'll be eating good tonight. Enjoy! |
| #2tigervirgoJun 21, 2008 21:45:22 | BAM! Welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your black dragon host; Emeril Leggosee Draco. On today's show, we're embracing our past youngling favorites & why they were so good for us back then, but not so good for us now as adults. Like many hatchling dragons, our mother's taught us the value of the good hunt. I still remember the twinkle in my dear old mom's eyes when she brought home my favorite treats & watch me play with my food. Who hasn't heard the mother's growl "eat your kobold hun, they're good for you." And, she was right. Some of us adult dragons have no choice but to eat the foods that we ate growing up. This may be due to the limited food supply around them. But I discovered that a goblin or kobold has no real nutritional value than just junk food. Recently, I began to wonder what would a goblin & kobold taste now, since my tastes have matured. And, what values it gives us. I was quite surprised. When we were younger, goblins offered us that fattiness that our body needed to grow. Those greasy little goblins slid down our throats without a lick of saliva to drench them down. Studies from the University of Tiamat, Foods & Drug Administration has researched in depth these creatures. They have found that the fat cells in the goblins helps our hatchlings produce sugar for their bodies which helps them become more energized. However, eating a goblin now, since many of us aren't exercising like we use to, will build up the fat in our bodies and slow us down in the long run. And, since the National Dragon Obesity Level (NDOL) is on the rise, I think its best if we stick to the better meats like; human, dwarves, elves, halflings, and gnomes. But, what about kobolds you ask? Well, studies have found that those crunchy little morsels are great for our hatchlings teeth. They help sharpen and develop the hatchling's jaws & teeth for larger, more tougher prey. Now, if you eat them as an adult, they seriously hold limited nutritional value & substance to carry you for the day. You'll be hungry again sooner than you realize. Plus, those damn little critters know exactly where to squeeze themselves into when they enter your mouth. You'll be picking kobolds out between your teeth for days; live & dead ones. Like I stated earlier, I returned down memory food lane & really found myself turned off by the whole greasiness of the goblins & the cleverness of kobolds hiding in your mouth. Those kobolds seriously make you work for your meal & never gave me that same satisfaction & pleasure that I remember as a young one. Even seasoning both species didn't help much. However, I must say, I still have a hankering once in awhile for those pixies, sprites, & brownies though. Those sweet delectables, with their nectar filled tummies & blood are so sinful. Dipped in chocolate or honey, you'll be eating pixies until you burp pixie dusts. But that my friends, I'll save for another show. I'm Emeril Leggosee Draco, saying "I'm eating good tonight!" Enjoy! |
| #3tigervirgoJun 21, 2008 22:39:47 | BAM! Welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your black dragon host; Emeril Leggosee Draco. On today's show, we're looking into why paladins give you devilish heartburn, and what is it with wizards that make them taste much better after they cast a spell or two. Just recently I had encountered what I naturally believed was an over dressed human fighter. We had our battle, and yes, I may be blushing, but I had won. In terms of fighting style, this guy was pretty good. He gave me a good run for my money. Like many humans, you hear their prayers and pleads to their gods when the soon realize that they will be your next meal. And, there is nothing they could do about it except grin and bare it. However, upon further research of my recent kill, I soon discovered, and to my surprise, that he was a paladin. I usually never get heartburn after a good meal or fight. We all know how drunken dwarves gives you gas, and gnomes, if not killed properly, can give you the runs. However, I never expected a paladin to give me heartburn. A few days after the kill, I have asked my fellow dragon chefs if they had the same issue with the holy fighters. And, they all agreed & came up with the same conclusion; paladin gods. Those faithful martyrs really pack a good & final punch when they go down. And, because they are so loyal to their gods, it does something to the meat which keeps you up at night asking "why me?". They still taste good, but those damn holy terrors really need to have the last fight before they pass. Now, as for wizards, they bring a added bonus to themselves after a casting a few spells. One of my dining companions had came across a wizard who bedazzled him with his magical talents. Its obvious who had more magical talent & experience when they fought. However, he noticed the meat had an extra flavor to it. When we gathered to discuss the paladin issue, the topic of wizards came up. When a wizard's magic energizes through him/her, it is believed that it does something to their body. Its a bit hard to explain the taste, however, upon feasting upon the victim, we all agreed that the taste is spellbinding to the mouth. I figured I'd share both negative & positive quirks about these two classes in order to bring attention to your next meal. Its amazing what a little class does to one's dinner. This is Emeril Leggosee Draco saying "I'm eating good tonight!" Enjoy! |
| #4tigervirgoJun 22, 2008 2:06:18 | BAM! Welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your black dragon host; Emeril Leggosee Draco. Bugbears, orcs & hobgoblins. How do you prepare these nasty dirty humanoids before they get nasty with you? Oh yes, you all have eaten one of these beasts of burden to prove how strong you were at one time or another. How many of us lead an army of bugbears, orcs, & hobgoblins and had to prepare ourselves before devouring the weakest warrior? Trust me, I know what your going through. Many right now can recall that awful taste. The dirty, sweaty & sometimes moldy flavors our so called "allies" hold within themselves. But, I have some wonderful suggestions on how to make those flavors disappear. Orcs, you can't live with them and you can't stand the taste, right? Well, these piggish creatures have a secret. Tenderize & bleed. When you get one of those orcish brawls happening in your realm, take the bull by the horns and swat them against the wall or bash them with your tail "BAM"! Make sure the blood runs tho. If its only bruising, the blood will spoil the taste. Now I see many dragon chef's eyebrows arc with intrigue on this one. Yes, it is the blood that gives orcs that unpleasant taste. And, since the hide is tough, tenderizing helps the meat & flavor. Hobgoblins. When the gods created them, it was obvious they added pure ego to these gruesome beasts. How many of you had to really put your foot down, literally, on a few of these guys? Oh yea, I see the claws raising here. In my opinion, these creatures are the hardest to work with. However, you cannot argue with how they get things done. Not like those goblins that annoy us when we're trying to sleep. But when you're hungry, or need to show whose boss, you have to eat them. What I find best about making my hobgoblins tasty is offer the one's who are giving you grief a "second chance". I know, I hear the complaints already. "But E. L. Draco, thats a sign of weakness to them". Yes & no. I'll explain why in a minute. The "second chance" is a small mission to gather you some special ingredients. Suggest to the army to gather apples, peaches, or berries as a small gesture of good faith. Trust me, hobgoblins fall for this one allot and think they have you scared. What they don't realize is, when they offer you these fruits as a sign of "friendship", they're actually giving you the flavors you need to eat them with. The taste with the fruit negates the unnatural flavors of the beasts and you successfully prove who is the true boss. However, you don't want to use this tactic too often around the hobgoblin troops, or they'll catch on. So you might have to perform this tactic with only the one hobgoblin in the room. When the hobgoblin isn't seen or heard from again, the rest soon get the picture. I've saved the worst tasting humanoid for the last. Yes, the dreaded bugbears. I see many heads nodding here. These creatures have no sense of genuine hygiene or desire to make themselves truly presentable. Once again, regarding their work habits, you can't argue with success. But when you need to show them that your bite is worse than your bark, you really need to prepare yourselves for devouring these bad boys. These beasts are simple. Get them drunk. Make an excuse to have them celebrate, or take your time proving your point as they get themselves intoxicated. It is because of the ale, wine or mead that flavors these hardy creatures. And, for some reason, the alcohol sweats itself through the skin and adds a nice spicy kick to them. I hope I had offered some excellent ways to have your orc & eat them too. Until next time, this is Emeril Leggosee Draco saying "I'm eating good tonight!" Enjoy! |
| #5tigervirgoJun 22, 2008 9:03:16 | BAM! Welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your black dragon host; Emeril Leggosee Draco. Today, we'll talk & show you how to gut those gnomes without spoiling your own gut. As you can see, we have our own very special & frightened guest; a male gnome. I actually found this lucky specimen in my garden. Go figure. As we all know, gnomes have a heart. And, it is this heart that we have a problem with. It was discovered by the United Dragon Society of Gnomenology that it is truly the heart that leaves that bad taste in our mouths. Professor P. J. Greknorian, a wise black dragon I might add, had discovered that a gnome's heart has a second layer around it. Due to the realms in which these gnomes live & the gems they mine or cut, it is believed that, through evolution, the heart had developed a second layer of muscle to help pump the thick blood in their body. This amazing study also found, once the heart is removed, the bitter & gut wrenching taste vanishes. Oh, look at our caged friend here. He wet himself. What an added bonus in flavor. Now, we take our little friend out of his cage. Oooh, he's a little fighter this one. Hold him aggressively in our claws. Darn, this little guy won't hold still. Sometimes, in cases like this, you need to flick these gnomes in the head. This will make them unconscious and easier to prepare. Like this. "BAM." Awe, our little friend is out like a light. Now, with your claw, aim for the heart and there you have it. You're ready for dinner. Gnome appetite! Until next time, this is Emeril Leggosee Draco saying "I'm eating good tonight!" Enjoy! |
| #6insaneengineerJun 22, 2008 10:12:29 | roflmao. just my $0.02, but I think this would have worked better ar a red dragon leaves it open for things "gently char the dwarf to get rid of all that hair, do not breathe too hard and turn it to ash." |
| #7apollyonschosenJun 22, 2008 10:33:16 | What exactly is the point of this? |

| #9jkob88Jun 22, 2008 13:34:57 | KA POWEE!!! hello, i bet you wondering why mister Emeril Leggosee Draco isn't here today, well, he was slain by a party of 4th edition adventures *sigh* i kept telling him to convert. ![]() my name is bobby the beholder and i'll be you're new host. Today I will help you learn to serve up halflings, now i know what your thinking "there too small" but don't worry, in bulk they can really fill you up. and due to thier low strengh and constitiution scores their always tender yum... Rule number one is never petrify your prey with your eyestalks, i can't tell you how tough stone is. well, unless you need croutons for treant salad, but thats for a diffrent episode. Now, halfings tast best to me in a stew. Now i gennerally cast charm monster on them and tell them the pot's a hot tub. halfling kabob is a low-carb and delicious treat, but make sure to use a flaming bastard sword as a skewer for maximum flavor, never use those cheap acid spears unless you want heart burn, oh and remember to marinate them in resist sonic potions (they gotta be useful for SOMTHING, right?) well thats all the time we have for today, goodbye. |

| #11tigervirgoJun 22, 2008 15:25:49 | BAM! Welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your black dragon host; Emeril Leggosee Draco. As you may have heard, I was unable to perform in a live televised broadcast. Thanks to our sponsor, CBS, the "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco" show was guest hosted by Bobby the Beholder. My personal thanks and gratitude to Bobby for seeing that things were kept up in my absence. He will be my special guest host when I am away, and part of the "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco" team as my sidekick. I also would like to thank my many fans for their "Get Well" cards & sympathy. Your loyalty and devotion has inspired me to be the best Emeril Leggosee Draco I can be for you. Let me explain what had happened. With recent events of my previous show, I was unaware that a plot to terminate my existence was unfolding. If you recall the episode regarding "paladin heartburn", I was unaware that these delightful treats also come in packs. With my unexpected party guests' arrival, I suddenly became ill & injured. Yes, they almost got the best of me. This, however, left the show without its beloved host. Please note, under any circumstances will I, Emeril Leggosee Draco allow CBS or its affiliates; Pearle Vision, Visine, & Lasik Eye, to replace me with Bobby the Beholder. I intend to continue to be a vital part of this show & remain true to my fans. Please Bobby, I see you giving me the cold stare. However, I forgive your attempts to fully take over the show. You have been my watch dog in my realm for many of years and I understand how tempting it may be to over throw your master. Please enjoy the "Best of Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco" as I will return with a new show about Summer cooking. BBQ anyone? Until next time, this is Emeril Leggosee Draco saying "I'm eating & soon will be feeling good tonight!" Enjoy! |
| #12tigervirgoJun 22, 2008 16:24:24 | BAM! Welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your black dragon host; Emeril Leggosee Draco. Please give a warm welcome to my sidekick, Bobby the Beholder. Give the girls a wink Bobby! On today's show, its Summertime Fun. And, what better way then to enjoy the season then with BBQ'ing. I have received many letters regarding Summer treats and BBQ'ing. We all know that the weather brings everyone together. For some reason, many meats become extremely active and daring, to say the least. How do we handle these pests and make a great meal out of them in the summertime heat? To answer these questions, I have asked my long time friend & dinner companion, cajun chef & red dragon; Louisiana Red. He will be hosting this segment of the show until I'm back on my feet and clawing away at my opressors. Tank you Emeril Leggosee Draco for your fine intro and hopitality. I guarantee its going to get hot, hot, hot in the kitchen tonight! Whoo, Pappa is kicking it up wit some flame broiling, I tell you what! Many ask "Emeril? What do you do bout dem darn dwarves in the summer?" Well, let this old southern boy tell you how to BBQ them hot doggies. I tell you what! Flame broil those babies on a stick or a BBQ and they'll be screaming "red hot!" And, those darn beards that tickle my gullet just burn themselves away, leaving baby soft skin and flavor to boot. But as Emeril pointed out earlier, some of dem darn bad boys come real active since the weather be nice and all. Oh yea, I hear many of you praising it. And, trust me, Louisiana Red is hearing you loud and clear here. I tell you what! Its easy! All you need is one simple and fun loving summertime treat that not only tastes good, but helps keeps dem darn weekend warriors from knocking at your back door. Whose in the mood for Jello? Yup! Thats all you need. Tese gelatinous rug rats suck in the nasties invading your realm and is a summertime hit for all of us. All you need to do is add sugar to those jiggly wigglies and, whoo hoo, lick and devour your opponents inside. Don't eat your gelatinous cube tho. They be good for around the house as they clean up the place too. But whenever they capture an invader and all, you'll be licking that sweet treat until you can't lick no more. I'm Louisiana Red steppin in for Emeril Leggosee Draco, saying "We all be eating good tonight! I guarantee!" Enjoy! |
| #13tigervirgoJun 22, 2008 18:17:50 | Hello there. You might remember me from my hit show "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco." I'm here to share with you about something serious that effected me recently. And, it actually effects many of us at a certain point of our lives. What is it? Its Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease or, what its commonly known as Acid Reflux. Did you know that 1 out 5 black dragons suffer from Acid Reflux? But theres treatment. I take, just twice a day, this little purple pill and it helps settle my disease. What is this pill called? Its called Nexium. Nexium is prescribed for the treatment of frequent, persistent heartburn symptoms due to acid reflux disease in black dragons. These symptoms typically occur on 2 or more days per week despite treatment and diet change. For many black dragons, NEXIUM can also heal damage to the esophagus caused by acid reflux. This damage can occur over time, when acid from the stomach erodes (wears away) the lining of the esophagus. Only a dragon doctor can determine if you have this condition, called erosive esophagitis. Most erosions heal in 4 to 8 weeks. Your results may vary. Side effects with NEXIUM include headache, diarrhea, and abdominal pain. Symptom relief does not rule out other serious stomach conditions.Consult your dragon doctor if these symptoms worsen. Since I start taking this little purple pill, "I'm eating & sleeping good tonight!" Nexium, the black dragon cure for Acid Reflux. |
| #14thibbJun 22, 2008 23:57:11 | Funny thread. I've read it a couple of times when I'm bored and its kept me entertained. As someone who watches cooking shows a lot on TV, I can say you've gotten a lot of the phrases and behaviours of tv chefs right. |
| #15jkob88Jun 23, 2008 1:57:26 | hello and welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco." please welcome my sidekick Bobby the beholder. heh, very funny draco, we discussed this with the producers im your cohost Right, moving on, Wintersday *producers note: dnd version of x-mas* is just around the corner and while its freezing out side inside it could't warmer and cheerier inside (unless you have the cold subtype). I remember my mother used to make a delicious bread pudding. Now I have all the ingrediants here, but you can find most, if not all from your local merchant. now, first you need 5 tons of flour, 300 gallons of milk, 120 kolbolds, 1 fire giant(if you don't like spicy food substitute a hill giant), and finally 1 merchant for flavor. bake in the oven at 1000 degrees for 10 minutes. now, its normal to hear "screaming" thats just the steam coming out of the pudding, also dying and.... but i digress, now let go over to bobby so you can have somthing to wash down this pudding with. Thank you Draco, I fondly remember a gnome adventurer, he was delicious. but before he was consumed, he begged for his life and taught me this recipe. "Eldritch eggnog" is a great treat for the whole family. All you need is 5 Dragon eggs *grins at draco* 100 gallons of milk,30 gallons of vodka(100 if your a single mother), and 20 pounds of githakyanki skin, mine is pre-shredded but if you like you can do it your self, the skins are what give the eggnog its nice yellow flavor, oh and NEVER use githzeri unless you like flatulance...alot. My favorite way to prepare the eggnog is to cast a scorching ray in the middle of the pot, but another good option is to throw a fire elemental in there. Finally use a dryad's tree for garnish, but make sure to extract the dryad, those little buggers taste horrible. Thank you bobby, with all this good food, maybe wintersday is more than just presents... *both bobby and draco at the same time* Nah! |
| #16tigervirgoJun 23, 2008 9:32:36 | BAM! Hello...and welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your green dragon master chef host filling in for Emeril Leggosee Draco; Ms. Julia Eatschilds. Today, we'll show you how to prepare those warm and comforting soups that everyone loves so much; Eyes of Beholder. Yes, yes we will. This is my personal favorite soup. Tasty & oh, so filled with evilness, not goodness, served in every bite. With chopped onions, pepper, & just the right of seasonings, makes Eyes of Beholder soup so delicious. I know what many of you are saying out there. "Julia, when I slice onions, my beholder's eyes tear up." Well, thats half the fun my dears. Torture in the kitchen bring happy & loyal homes. Its how I treat my servants when they don't respect me. Now, if you have little ones, they will enjoy helping you out in the kitchen on this little meal. It teaches them the values of punishing those who have wronged them. I know how the little ones enjoy poking & plucking each eye of the beholder out too. Ah, those hatchlings and their imaginations. They enjoy hearing the screams & yells of the beholder as the pluck & show each eye to the delectable beast. It just brings a tear to my eye just thinking about it. And, a tear to the beholder's eyes as well. Some of you enjoy chopping these eye balls up and tossing them in your soups. I, on the other hand, enjoy eating each eye ball whole. It also makes it fun for the little ones to see those eyes bobbing in the soup, looking back at them so. "Oh yes, I see you too!" Ha,ha,ha,ha,ha! Ah, good times. You can also create an after dinner treat with these eyeballs as well. Eyescream are little ones' favorite desserts and brings the summertime fun for all. You can create chocolate, vanilla, strawberry, halfling delight. The lists of possibilities are endless. This is Ms. Julia Eatschilds filling in for Emeril Leggosee Draco, saying enjoy! |
| #17jkob88Jun 23, 2008 12:10:31 | KA POWEE!! Hello, and welcome back from commercial break, its me everyone's favorite co-host Bobby the Beholder. Miss Eatschild Can't finish the show, she's having a...pleasant talk with the producers on due to complaints from P.E.T.A: People for Ethical Treatment of Abberrations. So, moving on today we will learn about the many types of fey and how to cook them, from- *looks off screen* huh? oh, ok. Looks like the producers have suggested a change of plan, today's meal will be green dragon; our sponsors have also told me to say THIER GRRRRRRREAT!! or else have my eyes made into soup. Personally green dragon meat has been difficult to prepare in my experiance; and I'm leve 16, so thats a lot. But this particular green dragon was tenderized by the loving, flailing tenacles of a mind flayer and aboleth, and its also been marinated by their slime secretions. So I've decided to make Miss eats- err i mean this generic green dragon into a casserole. Scince dragons genrally have fire resistance this particular cassorole should be baked in a volcano, or the abyss for 20 minutes, but through the magic of television (and our wizard) we have one already done, and doesn't that smell good? To top it all off I like to sprinkle it with crushed salt memphits, but water memphits work well for those dieters out there. Well, thanks for watching, untill next time! |
| #18tigervirgoJun 24, 2008 16:10:01 | BAM! Welcome to "Cooking with Emeril Leggosee Draco", I'm your yellow dragon host filling in for Emeril Leggosee Draco; Ms. Marta Stew Warts. As many of you know, Emeril Leggosee Draco is currently fighting his own legal battles with his oppressors. Being a dragon under house arrest myself, having legal issues with my finances, I am here today to talk about the do's & don'ts of serving your time. However, please note that I am not at liberty to express any details regarding either Emeril Leggosee Draco's or my own legal proceedings. Recently, many of you have wrote in asking if nipping & biting at your opponents, while serving time, was a good thing. Some of you have been tortured by your own oppressors and are denied the basic needs of food & water. Coming from my own personal experience, nipping & biting never helps anyone. You may feel better that you have seriously injured or wounded one of your captors. However, since they have you imprisoned, your small victory will only be short lived & could actually cost you your life. I have found, serving your time will lead to better things. Yes, I understand that your captor's intent may never be to free you, but realize this, we are blessed with long life spans than most of our oppressors. And, since things happen in time, you may become freed during a war or battle by some new allies. As for serving time without food & water, I realize how difficult it is to think on your feet in a time of torture & crisis. However, there is hope. Its what I like to call, taking pleasures in the little things in life. Now, all you need is those little pesky rats that always finds ways into your dungeon. These tiny morsels bring such minimal nourishment but delightful taste & joy. Just imagine yourself, eating those little critters as if they were the one's who enslaved you. Since I know many of my oppressors' names, I like naming my rats with their names before I devour them whole. It brings a whole lot of satisfaction and joy to my dismal little world. This is Ms. Marta Stew Warts filling in for Emeril Leggosee Draco, saying someone please free me, now! |
