Because you can never have enough topics about jetpacks.

Weren't those rockets propelling him and not jet engines?  I mean, they looked like rockets anyway.  So yeah, no jetpack action here.

Looked pretty fun, though.

They've had hydrogen peroxide jetpacks since the 1950's. They just don't use them because they take too much fuel and can't go very far...

I watched Kick-Ass the other night and I didn't have high hopes going in because I do not like Nicolas Cage.  The jet pack at the end though...

He's got 4 Jet-Cat P200 engines on that thing. They run on a mix of 95% kerosene and 5% of turbine oil for lubrification. The average speed is ~125 mph, with a flight time of ~10 minutes. He steers it only with movements of his own body. He's currently working on a new prototype that should allow him to take off from the ground.

No kiddin'.  Well, that makes it a jetpack.  Cool (er, not that it wasn't before - you know, way back when I thought he used rockets ).

That movie is awesome! I especially like the part where the 12 year old girl goes to town on the mobsters henchmen and kills them all...
