| #2awesome_dudeFeb 21, 2009 21:06:48 | Jimmy Fallon? More like Jimmy Failon! |
| #3boj0Feb 22, 2009 1:52:22 | Jimmy Fallon is still alive!?!? He like, disappeared for a few years after SNL and I never saw him again ![]() |
| #4mnemonicsvFeb 22, 2009 18:50:53 | Hard to say how Jimmy will fare: On one hand, there's already a late night "Jimmy" (Kimmel). On the other hand, he can't possibly be worse than (fellow SNL alumni member) Chevy Chase as a talk show host. Have any other former SNL cast members hosted talk shows? |
| #5Alter_BoyFeb 22, 2009 20:06:49 | Jimmy Fallon, at best, will rival Jimmy Kimmel in the award for the category of "You aren't funny, bring out the guests or I'm going to bed." |
| #6Reg06Feb 22, 2009 21:13:32 | I'd be impressed if any one could do a worse job that Conan O'Brien. But Jimmy Fallon might be able to do it. |
| #7susannymnFeb 22, 2009 23:46:22 | I'm of two minds about this. On the one hand, Jimmy Fallon is... well, Jimmy Fallon. On the other, there's a chance for a full Bob Saget reversal here... *fingers crossed* |
| #8powercatFeb 23, 2009 7:28:53 | Considering how bad of a start Conan O'Brien had at Late Night, I'd say if Fallon can't put together a better start, he'll be out of a job in a hurry. I think he'll have a better start, but he won't be as good as Conan in the long run. If I were going to give an SNL alum that spot, I actually would have offered it to Tina Fey. I realize she already has a show, but she'd certainly be better than Fallon. |
| #9zombie_babiesFeb 23, 2009 9:47:40 | Jimmy Fallon has achieved what few thought possible. He's shown even less talent than Conan has. The best thing Conan ever did was that Super Bowl commercial. That's kind of funny. And "kind of funny" is a level that Jimmy Fallon cannot even approach. Fallon will end up doing better than Conan, though. Largely because this nation contains more morons per capita than any other on this planet. The rest of his success will be due to his popularity with teenage girls. They find him hotter than they thought Conan was, so he'll have that goin' for him. Talent means little when the teenies think you're hot or cool. Doubt me? Just take a look at today's music for confirmation. |
