You know, I've never really liked that slang.  "Junk".  I mean really, just what image are we trying to sell here?  "Junk"?  Really?  Of all the words in the English language we get the one that means "piles of disorderly stuff with no real purpose"?

So is it called free-ballin' or goin' commando for women or do they call it something like removin' the barrel or kissin' the sky?

Yeah, 'junk' isn't exactly the most flattering term.  I'm guessing it was originally used by doods that wanted to look all 'hey man, I don't care about anything' or something.  I think it's kinda funny, but it isn't great.  Package is pretty good, though.

A holy man speaking to a wayward  youth: "Your soul is a precious package, to be nurtured and cared for until the time of deliverance.  Let me guide you there!  Entrust your package to me, and it will feel wonderful!"
Wayward youth gives him a somewhat disbelieving stare and says "... are you high?"

... *ahem* bad jokes aside, package sounds like one too.  I mean, it's just full of innuendo.  "Hey baby, I'm the delivery man and boy have I got a 'package' for you".

Just bad jokes all around, ya know?

This thread cause me to laugh and also reminds me why I love the internet. For those of you that missed it I read Twilight because I was bored and had nothing better to do.

On topic I never really liked the term either. Package is full of funny puns. But working in a grocery store I must say I have the best "junk" related pun. I work in a Sweetbay(a division of foodlion/hannaford brand foods). We sell many products. Look on your pay slip next time and see how stuff is abbreviated. Now to the funny. Our generic store brand is Hannahford, which abbreviates to HRD. No when you ring up our store brand hot dogs you would expect, HRD hotdogs, but no you get the following

HRD wieners.

Gets me everytime I see it.

I believe it's still a CoC violation that the mods will threaten to ban ya for knowingly using it but never will.

Eh, the word itself isn't "sexually explicit".  It's how you use it that makes it go from "anatomy" to "sexual".

Wasn't that word censored before the switch to the beta? But yeah, the mods and junk have tolds some of us before that even though a word might not be censored, it is still a CoC violation if it falls under that CoC violation zone such as referin' to sex, drugs, cussin' and whatnot. I'm sure that webster or them ORCs can explain it better than this dude can.

I need to get back to doin' scoo work nowz. Gotta read about how them Neanderthal womenz were as hugely muscular as the Neanderthal dudes. I guess I can't realy relate the scoo work to this thread though cuz they don't talk about Neanderthal packages. Just about how Neanderthals must have had a really muscular build. Now I got a picture in my mind of a bunch of Conans runnin' about and some of them are female versions of Conan. My guess is that they're all goin' commando (barbarian?) under their animal skins.

I'm so using "goin' barbarian" from now on. :-)

As for the "word" issue ... if someone reports it and I get in trouble, I'll respect the decisions, but I wouldn't have posted it if I thought it violated the CoC (you guys know me better than that!).

But yeah ... "goin' barbarian" is totally in my vocabulary now. :-)

Yay, I increase people's vocabularies. *happy dance*

Why go Commando when you can go BARBARIAN!!

Having orc problems? Then go barbarian.
Need more freedom while raiding? Then go barbarian.
Wanna feel the midday breeze? Then go barbarian.

I've been goin' barbarian since 8 this morning. It's worked for me. It'll work for you. I guarantee it.

So if goin' with no undies is to be called "goin' barbarian" does that mean wearing a thong or G-string is goin' amazon?

Mine was once called The Captain.  That chick was crazy.

Am I the only one that gets an uncomfortable feelin' when he sees 'violates the CoC' in this thread?  I see that phrase all the time and it doesn't bother me a bit.  For whatever reason, when I see it in this thread, it does.  Odd, no?

Oh, I was also always partial to 'Yogurt Slinger'.

bleh what discussion, It's an argument that's been going on for thousands of years without being resolved.  It really doesn't matter who's right since it doesn't have a huge impact either way.

It's a cultural choice, and there's no way you're going to get all people to agree one culture is better than another.

Eh, my big beef is that as far as a medical procedure goes it's of negligible cost savings (the reason the UK doesn't cover non-therapeutic ones), and that as far as a cultural thing goes it's often done to infants who have no choice.  An adult man wants to get it done?  Fine.  His body, his choice, he can get done to it what he wants.  But to a friggin' baby?  Yeah.

In short: as a preventive medical procedure it's of questionable merit, and as a cultural one the boy should be given the choice.

*ahem*

Anyway.

Good point. I guess we'd have to try and put more junk in it to see if the junk would fit in the trunk. Only problem with that though is that both the junk and trunk could be damaged by forcing the junk into a trunk that already contains junk.
