If you saddle yourself with a pony just to be like a human then you really are a ... halfling. A properly trained riding dog will serve you better than anu human ever got from his horse. They are more loyal, more agile, more even temptered, and smarter than anything a livery can offer. Do you need strength? We have Great Danes and Mastiffs that could pull a cart, though if that is what you need, I do suggest you get a pony. That would be a waste of these fine animals. At two years of age our danes can carry two people for miles, excellent for rescue work. If you're riding alone he'll carry you all day just as far as a human can cover on a horse. And on some of these boys you are sitting almost as high! If you're a rancher our Herders are an investment you will never regret. These incredibly smart dogs can be trained to do the routine tasks of keeping sheep and goats in line with you or without you. Lost lambs will be a thing of the past. Now, Ranger work calls for a special breed. Out Retrievers can hunt game from across the woods and track it just like a wolf. But unlike a wolf your dog will not damage the prey. He'll carry it to you. The sense of smell on Greymoon Dogs is unparalleled. I knew a gnome on the King's Guard who rode one of my father's hounds. Especially in the city these animals do much better than horses. He could track criminals better than any man on the Guard. Story goes a blighter this dog tracked escaped from prison seven years into a life sentence. This gnome was on routine street patrol when his dog catches a whiff of the blighter and tracks him down, after 7 years! Dog's a hero. Gnome's a hero. Everybody's happy! can you beat that? You aren't going to get service like that out of a pony. Now, if you are a warrior, there are special training considerations. Our dogs are trained in two styles of combat, mounted and unmounted. There is no worry of your dog jumping for a troll's throat while you are on his back, nor of it sitting by helpless if you are knocked off. These dogs are capable and trustworthy. What warhorse could be trusted to stand guard over your camp? WHat warhorse would be safe around children? Our dogs are rigorously trained to know the difference between enemy and friend, unless you say differently. The cost does represent the time and money inveted in training. But these dogs are worth every copper, for both training and breeding. These are our boggest, smartest, and best. We have a full money-back guarantee. I can honestly say I have never had to give anyone his money back. Ask around and you'll hear nothing but good things of this dog ranch. Now, if you want your dog today, I can take you to the kennels to look around. If you are more patient and want something special we can look at some of our pups. Choose your mount while he's still young and we can customize the training to suit your needs. |
