| #1oldguygamingJan 22, 2010 21:43:09 | I've been reading the forums on and off for some time and figured it was time I got around to creating an account and getting involved. I thought I should stop in and say hi while I was at it. : ) I've been playing D&D since the 70s and have run through every version as it came out. My homebrew game is a mix of all of the versions plus a lot of stuff I've come up with myself. But recently, I've been working at embracing 4th edition. I had been away from D&D for a few years. When I decided to get back into it I was a little discouraged because I had given away all of my D&D stuff. Since I would be starting over assembling materials and creating a world from scratch, I figured it would be a good time to start a blog to document my progress in hopes that it might offer some insight to new DMs just getting started. The downloads section only has a few dungeon geomorphs atm but once I have a bit more time I will start my mapping (with cc3/dd3 and dundjinni) and it will fill up rapidly. You can find it at Old Guy Gaming. Enjoy! |

| #6oldguygamingJan 22, 2010 23:19:38 | Hmm.. no one's ever reported that. I just checked every link and everything looks to be fine now. I'd say it must be a browser issue but then two of you had it happen. I'd love to hear from anyone else, either way. I'll see what I can do to research it further. Thanks for the heads up! UPDATE: I tested on three computers each with a different OS and four browsers between them. Everything worked fine on all but one browser. I identified the code that was causing problems with that one and removed it. That seems to have fixed the problem. Odd that it only affected one. That will teach me (hopefully) not to ignore cross-browser testing. Ironically, it was a typo in a conditional statement letting ie6 users know that they were unsupported and suggesting that they upgrade. The typo only caused a problem in a non-ie browser : ) |

Gotcha! Le troll francois est retourne! I'll be sure to check OldGuyGaming some time. The dungeon geomorph section looks interesting. |
