And parents are paying for it.

I am opposed to this.  If you're gonna do it why use the Hunger Games?  They're just a lame ripoff of The Lord of the Flies and Battle Royale.  I mean, they should have made it a Battle Royale (book) themed camp - that would have been awesome.  Nope, they went with some cady assed version of it.  Lame.

I'm assuming its because most kids haven't read either Lord of The Flies or Battle Royale. In any case, at least it's not a Twilight themed camp.

I read Lord of the Flies (by choice) when I was a kid.  Stoopid kids these days.    You're right about the Twilight thing, though.

Yeah, but most kids these days can barely read. A few years ago, when I was working as a dispatcher with the fire department, I was talking to my trainer, who happened to be some lady who had been there for about eight years. She was telling me that her son had to take some tutoring class to pass the FCAT test. He had taken it several times and had not passed it. So she had put him in some tutoring class where instead of teaching the students what they needed to learn, it instead told them where to find the answer. For example, instead of teaching a student what a topic sentence is, and what it should have, they taught the students where in the essay the topic sentence was usually placed. Her on wanted to become a fire fighter. I'm hoping I never get into an accident and have this mental giant show up to rescue me. Idiots.

Wow, that's a special kind of special.  I don't know anyone that ever even tried to study for one of those tests - let alone required tutoring.  Jeebus ...

Where the boys learn how to stalk women and the girls learn to be excited about that.

Well, unfortunately, I've met many who had to get tutoring. I used to work as a tutor at a college. I had to tutor the students that managed to somehow pass that test, but couldn't write a simple sentence. It was ridiculous. I was teachinga class one time, and I asked them to tell me what a verb was. I may as well have asked a dog to explain quantum physics.

Battle Royale (the book) is more about murder.  Though there is a moment where a gilr of questionable morals uses her reputation to murder someone.

I actually tutored some kid in math when I was in High School.  Math?  Not my subject.  Somehow I was better at it than him, though.  It felt strange.  I was asked to tutor and was like 'why not' and then they said 'math' and I was all like 'cool, maybe the kid can teach me something'.  Not the case.  I hope he isn't bagging groceries somewhere now.  I taught him all I could ... which wasn't much.

I think she was referring to Twilight.

I think I'd rather see that guy bagging grocering or picking up trash than having a job at a bank.

Why would anyone do that?

Well sure but I'd hate to think I was, like, part of the reason for it, yanno?  Yeah, stoopid conscience.  It's almost dead, though.  Eventually good beer, scotch, bourbon, cognac and gin will kill what little remains.

Twilight is the gateway drug to Mormonism. She's tried it. Now it'll only get worse from here on.

I think his parents are more to blame.

I don't see a problem with that. In fact, it sounds like a pretty good time.

Genetically speaking?

Oh, it is.  Nothing but the best for this particular murder.  It's the only way I can kill my conscience in good conscience.

Yup.

Among other reasons.

Yup.

For Kolob!!

Among other reasons.

Tacit approval of eugenics maybe?

It's the right thing to do.

That's what I thought a few bottles ago.  Now?  Now I'm not so sure anymore.

Until the intergalatic war against scientologist.

Yes.

Things seem to be progressing nicely.

That would be sooo cool.  I imagine a buncha doods with paper blasters yelling 'pew pew' at each other.

Yes.

Wunderbar.

Yep.  The key is quality, not quantity.  Though quantity does seem to help.
