I had not heard about this.

Presumably, they were working with a much less awesome title before Summer was cast.

It also has a McPoyle in it.  But ... uhh ... it looks kinda lame.  Too dumb to be the good kinda dumb.  Still, it's a shame that LARPers got a better movie than D&D players did.

I'm guessing this will end with Miss Glau killing the demon with her brain? This does look like it may be worth a watch, if only because it has Miss Glau in it. Oh, and the concept is somewhat interesting. That too.

You should... the Gamers is actually really good. For something made so low budget it's very enjoyable and actually hilarious.

I must've seen that one a dozen times and it stays funny.

No why?

I meant it as a joke, Like obviously thats the D&D movie that ZB meant, I mean what other D&D movie could there possibly be? Noooooo!!! Not that one!!!

maybe the "joke" woulda been funnier if I referenced Mazes and Monsters instead?

But anyway I liked the Gamers, I thought it was pretty damn funny, but a big part of that is probably because those guys remind me alot of the guys I used to play with, "I'm going to steal his pants!" Its a cute little movie, not to everyones taste im sure.
Not sure if I liked the Gamers 2 better or not, it seemed to take itself a bit more seriously, I really liked the bard though, all of them.

Those movies are the type of players I have always tries to avoide. There have been a few times where I was stuck with several of that ilk, only to find things missing the next time I went to use them.
When I was married the guy she hired to watch the step kids was the worst. He'd hold games in our apt while we were at work with people I didn't know.

Hope you smacked him.
