Well, Skyrim was fun, moving was a hassle, assembling my new computer was a hassle, but here we are now.

68.144.69.98:25565

Fresh world since I wanted to avoid any bugs that would carry forward from the old world. Would hate to have lag attacks again right off the bat.

IP will stay up for a few days then I'll take it down with a note to PM me for the server info. Will probably stick with the Blacklist instead of a Whitelist.

Just remember:

Don't be a Tosser.

Is the server like the old one? Or did you upgrade from an Etch-a-Sketch?

Yeah, this is all great and I am deeply happy for you, bla bla bla... But what about the important stuff?

Where the **** is Foldy? Were you just a tease?

Technically Foldy hosted the Skyrim summary! And Shrooms! The straight dope is that he suffered some damage in the move and I've been having some trouble getting the new HD workflow to work well with the puppet, plus Jill and Jamie agreed to do interviews and that made me a bit lazy with fixing him (and the workflow problems), since I was considering a complete rebuild anyway. I've just about got it sorted out, but I realized last night that Skyrim is a bad thing in that it consumes all my creativity. I've barely got any ideas for this week because I've been eat/sleep/dreaming Skyrim for the last two weeks. So step one is get a script for this week. Step two is figure out how to get Foldy back into the real world.

Is the server like the old one? Or did you upgrade from an Etch-a-Sketch?

Significant upgrade from the etch-a-sketch. It's a 486 with 56kb of RAM! 56! FIVE SIX!

In seriousness it's running off my new render/gaming box. Things might get messy late at night when I do my overnight renders, but I don't even have After Effects loaded on it yet so I'm not tempted to run that with all 16 gigs of RAM opened up for the scrubber.

Are endermen turned off? if not then you should do that. they were supposedly made so that they are less annoying but they are pretty annoying in concept. If endermen are around and about i will be underground once again.

I actually decided to play a bit of Minecraft a few days ago. I might join the server (though probably at times when everyone's off)

Do you the official premium client? Or is there a way to play for free?

I'll do a shear and cull this evening, after I get a screenshot for the forums

You need the full client to play multiplayer. If you're enjoying Classic (the free version) then the full version is well worth the 20 Euro, since you get multiplayer and all the other new features that have been added since: dyes, alchemy, improved biomes, ravines, towns, sneaking, sprinting, inventory, crafting, infinite world space, and a ton of other things that I'm probably forgetting.

No! No Minecraft! Bad OTTers!

Just bought a copy. The game is totally worth it anyway. I support the people who actually make cool stuff rather then uninspired drivel Laughing

So how do you deal with Endermen? One of those bastards killed me twice and he even managed to get into the house I was taking cover in Frown

Don't look directly at them unless you want to make them mad. If you do make one mad, hit it with your sword a few times.

I have no advice 'cus I haven't tengled with them in 1.0 yet. If you don't look directly at them they shouldn't aggro.

Hm I'll try to avoid looking at them then. My sword didn't seem to do much good, though it was made of stone so probably not very strong anyway.

There are a few things you can do. not look at them. one way is to wear a pumpkin as a helmet. Another thing is to dump a bucket of water or run to water. water kills them. another option is to use a sword. I found out that their weakness is a diamond sword. ;)

There may or may not possibly be a theoretical live minecraft field in my front lawn.

You're supposed to test it. You could lead a cow or a sheep into the middle of it and then run like crazy.

There seems to be some new faces on this server. Or at least people I don't remember ever seeing on the last one. Who exactly is everybody and stuff?

One of them is building this ugly thing in front of my house which they call a "rail road". It is obstructing my view of LFK's place! The least they could have done was make it an underwater tunnel!!!!!!!!!!!

kkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk

I think they should put windows in that tunnel or at least color it up a bit. Right now it's a soar on the eyes. If it isn't dealt with soon I will be forced to contact our land lord. Or put the door in the other side of my home. I might do that one when I switch from cobble stone to brick. I'll also put in windows and junk.

Also I found an underground ravine thingy that ends just at the edge of the spawn area (can't mine or place junk) so i lucked out on that one.

OK now off to kinda somewhat study for a final and junk

Well, I finally made level 50 for the first time. Naturally I went hunting for a level 50 enchant. I ended up settling for a level 49 enchant, 'cause I was having no luck finding a 50 after half an hour of looking. What did I get? Unbreaking III. Whoopdydoo.
