| #1fenrir7139Jan 16, 2009 0:24:43 | The title says it all. I created this in a few minutes via Audacity (it's a .wav file, so it'll hopefully work on every body's computer). I just recorded myself twice (thrice, if you count the end bit), then lowered and raised the pitch on each recording, respectively. For those wondering where I got the words from, I didn't actually make them up! Well, I sort of did. I took passages from the Vietnamese and Quiché language versions of a certain book, and sounded them out as best I could (read: totally butchered the languages; sorry, anybody who speaks those!). Anyway, as for why I posted this: I figured it sounded fairly bad-ass, and would work nice as background noise for when that uber-evil necromancer/mage/devil-worshipper starts casting his end-all spell, and I wanted to share it with you guys. Plus, if you want, you could post your own! That'd be cool. Anyway, I'm off! *Cue whooshing sound* EDIT: Also, please tell me if you think it's any good or not. I liked it, personally, and thought it was fairly creepy... |
| #2dirtyfrankJan 16, 2009 2:07:59 | Is there a reason to why it sends me to megaupload.com and asks me to download stuff. Could you walk me through so that I know what I got to do to listen to your sounds. |
| #3fenrir7139Jan 16, 2009 6:46:31 | Yeah, you just have to type the three letters. I think I'll just upload it to YouTube, though. I don't know why I didn't before. Oh, and thanks for replying to this. You're still banned, though. :D |
| #4BloodsoulJan 16, 2009 7:01:24 | Well, it's no Ave Satani. :P Actually, it reminds me of the background music to the last level of Strife: Quest for the Sigil, when you're about to face the Entity/One God; in which case, it would sound more alien than evil. "You! You who have crused my Order! Torn through my russes! And threatened centuries of desire! But I will prevail! I will infect you.. and twist you.. to my will!!" |
| #5ADHadhJan 16, 2009 7:33:37 | It sounds like a gibbering beast. |
| #6dirtyfrankJan 16, 2009 9:06:00 | It sounds like a lot of echo. |
| #7fenrir7139Jan 17, 2009 0:51:43 | Lulz, yeah, was it too much? :P And as for sounding like a Gibbering beast... Well, that's kind of cool! |
| #8dirtyfrankJan 17, 2009 1:27:19 | It was the higher pitched voice that was doing most, if not all, of the echoing. The lower pitch was fine. |
