I'm looking for a vertically opening picture book, hardcover, from the late 80's at the latest to the mid 90's.
In it, two kids go to a haunted island to try and find their grandfather.
They go through it's many levels. As I remember it, the book was intricately illustrated and fun to look at. It turns out at the end that the island was a high tech theme park run by their grandfather.
If I recall correctly, it starts out in a coastal town, then moves to a pirate cave, then some kind of kitchen, a hedge maze, a tower, etc.
THIS IS DRIVING ME CRAZY! IF YOU THINK YOU KNOW IT AND WHAT THE NAME OF IT IS I'LL LOVE YOU FOREVER!!! |
