Hi, I'm wondering if anyone knows where I can buy any old school D&D T shirts with silk screened images from the first or second monster manual or any cool images taken from the guide books or t shirts with images that would be similar to that. It's been a long time since I played D&D and those images bring me right back to my childhood, I would love to wear a shirt with a beholder or black pudding or an Elf with a cross bow, or even the cover to the first monster manual. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks, Morning Star.

I'd like to add a request to the list: Where can I find a shirt with "I'm a monster! Rawr!" and the gnome on it?

Sorry I can't help. The best advice I have is to look for a custom-design shirt place.

Kinkos actually will do it for you. they're not the best, but they are also not hard to find. then take the image you want in on a disk.

Kinkos will? They wouldn't even copy player handouts from a module for me!

Oh, you're in luck. I saw a few out in Indie few weeks ago for Gencon '08. Not sure if they were selling them at WotC booths, but it was unmistakeable.

They keep pushing a ton of crap that will never sell, but generic merchandise like this would be a good idea. I got a few of the promo T's at past Gencons and even nongamers in bohemian social cirlces always dig them too. Kind of in the same vein as the campy 80's vintage shirts indie rock kids sport or all the video game culture hoodies and such too. Birds of a feather...

As for private printings, Kinkos and the like, um, don't want to be a thorn in your side or anything, but aren't copyrights kind of an issue with this?

Yeah, I work at OfficeMax, and if I touch something copyrighted, I might as well say, "Hey! Boss! Fire me!" But um.. maybe jinx.com? they carry some newer age stuff, but they should have a throw back or two to older editions.
