| #1Lord_VentnorMar 01, 2009 1:19:22 | The Link. This just... It's frickin' hilarious, and I wanted to share it. :D EDIT: Here's another one |
| #2DralenanMar 01, 2009 1:24:13 | Wow...I want that burger... |
| #3cherubaddonMar 01, 2009 4:30:08 | If your girlfriend likes your cooking, you're doing it wrong! ![]() I love how he screams after each sentence. |
| #4mock26Mar 01, 2009 14:27:17 | Not a very manly looking host for that video. |
| #5dirtyfrankMar 01, 2009 14:40:34 | ![]() Not a very manly looking host for that video. He has a beard and beards=manly. |
| #6crossroads_wandererMar 01, 2009 14:51:22 | I can stomach raw garlic and onions...and he cooked them anyway. ![]() |
| #7dirtyfrankMar 01, 2009 14:54:26 | Are you saying that you're a man? ;) |
| #8crossroads_wandererMar 01, 2009 15:00:33 | No, I just happen to like garlic a lot. Onions, I can stand raw, but I don't particularly like. But, other than that I suppose I have "feminine" taste buds. I don't like too much spicy food. |
| #9dirtyfrankMar 01, 2009 15:03:14 | I like garlic as a spice and not as a snack. I can eat onions raw but they are better as a spice/condiment. I can eat a peeled lemon whole with no problem at all. I gobble those sour balls up like they were noth'n. |
| #10crossroads_wandererMar 01, 2009 15:10:32 | I suck on lemons whenever I get them in my drink. I also like sour candy, but in moderation. I think the thing that I wouldn't like about that hamburger though is that there is so much meat. I feel weighed down when I eat even half that amount of meat. |
| #11dirtyfrankMar 01, 2009 15:12:02 | There is no such thing as too much meat. |
| #12crossroads_wandererMar 01, 2009 15:16:25 | There is where the manly vs. nonmanly cooking concept comes from. |
| #13dirtyfrankMar 01, 2009 15:17:59 | It's just a rule. A man can never be packing too much meat into the meals he serves. |
| #14m-barkMar 01, 2009 16:15:59 | He has a beard and beards=manly. Remember folks, you can't spell "beard" without spelling "bear". |
| #15awesome_dudeMar 01, 2009 19:18:43 | I like garlic as a spice and not as a snack. I can eat onions raw but they are better as a spice/condiment. I can eat a peeled lemon whole with no problem at all. I gobble those sour balls up like they were noth'n. I can't even eat a tomato. And that's a large percentage of my diet, given that the animal kingdom in its entirety is off my menu. |
| #16pigknightMar 01, 2009 19:24:19 | That much meat is compensating for something methinks. |
| #17Lord_VentnorMar 01, 2009 19:40:28 | Compensating? Pah! A real man would ask "Why are they using so little meat?" |
| #18dirtyfrankMar 01, 2009 22:35:44 | A real man would ask "Why are they using so little meat?" Damn Right! |
| #19m-barkMar 02, 2009 4:37:44 | I think even the women might wonder where the beef is. |
| #20Another_GnomeMar 02, 2009 4:57:08 | It's just a rule. A man can never be packing too much meat into the meals he serves. Funny thing is that few men probably realize that unless they actually hunt down and kill their own meat, it makes them carrion eaters. Not that there's anything wrong with a good juicy carcass. :D |
| #21cherubaddonMar 02, 2009 6:00:28 | Funny thing is that few men probably realize that unless they actually hunt down and kill their own meat, it makes them carrion eaters. Actually, you are a carrion-eater regardless of whether you or someone else hunted the animal. After all, a dead animal is a carcass no matter who killed it. So you'd actually have to eat live animals (like oysters). But anyways, real men shoot their own food. Everyone knows that. |
| #22crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 8:54:08 | Carrion eaters are animals that eat the scraps of animals killed by other animals, or by natural death. By definition, they do not kill their own food. Animals don't really eat live animals unless it is small enough to be eaten in one bite, because the animal being eaten will die in the middle of being eaten. So eating an animal you killed yourself makes you a predator, while eating an animal killed by something else makes you a carrion-eater. The line only blurs when you are eating an animal you killed a week ago. |
| #23rakeMar 02, 2009 10:25:26 | But anyways, real men shoot their own food. Everyone knows that. And then they make sexy animal-hide bikinis for their women. Amiright? |
| #24crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 10:28:18 | *facepalm* |
| #25rakeMar 02, 2009 10:30:27 | *facepalm* Hey, I don't like your attitude, missy. And where's your leapord-skin bikini? |
| #26crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 10:32:37 | Believe me, you don't want to see me in one. |
| #27rakeMar 02, 2009 10:35:46 | There is only one way to prove or disprove that statement. EDIT: Wait, no. You're right. Your hair being as bright as it is, maybe we should use something darker. Bearskin? |
| #28crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 10:39:58 | There is only one way to prove or disprove that statement. Then we shall settle at neither proving or disproving it. :P |
| #29rakeMar 02, 2009 10:42:47 | Can't blame a guy for trying. :P |
| #30cherubaddonMar 02, 2009 11:31:16 | So if I understand correctly, you would have to hunt whenever you are hungry, would have to kill your prey - preferably with your natural weapons/bare hands - and then eat it? Thank you very much, I think I'll remain a carrion eater. Ah, the marvels of civilization. EDIT: Including bearskin bikinis :D EDIT 2: Wow, the part where he randomly takes out the handgun EVERY MANLY MAN ALWAYS HAS WITH HIM and starts whipping the beef ![]() |
| #31dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 17:25:15 | The second video is also very great. Good stuff Lord_Ventnor. |
| #32crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 17:33:48 | ![]() The second creation scared me... |
| #33dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 17:37:51 | The second creation looks very manly. :D |
| #34crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 17:38:49 | It looks like an instant heart attack. |
| #35dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 17:44:28 | Heart attacks are manly. |
| #36awesome_dudeMar 02, 2009 17:47:00 | Only if you survive them. |
| #37crossroads_wandererMar 02, 2009 17:48:03 | I hope you can convince yourself of that when you're knocked on your a** by one someday for eating like that. :P |
| #38dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 17:50:26 | It would convince me that I'm manly. ;) |
| #39mock26Mar 02, 2009 21:43:03 | Can't blame a guy for trying. :P Actually, Yes. Yes you can blame a guy for trying! :D |
| #40stealthmarmotMar 02, 2009 22:42:47 | Actually, Yes. Yes you can blame a guy for trying! :D As a conversation with a lady friend of mine went: Me: Can you blame me? Lady friend: Yes. :D Me: *pause*... can you RIGHTFULLY blame me? Lady Friend: Mmmmm, No. ![]() |
| #41dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 22:47:31 | A friend of mine, she said that the hamburger looks very tasty. :D |
| #42ciaranMar 02, 2009 22:52:57 | I was at a bachelor party this weekend and the groom to be favored us with a recipe he found online. Its the Bacon Explosion. He made it with cream cheese instead of BBQ sauce. Pretty tasty, but I would advise against easting too much of one. Not for the mild-mannered.![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
| #43dirtyfrankMar 02, 2009 22:55:01 | ![]() |
| #44Lord_VentnorMar 02, 2009 23:13:33 | Weaving is manly if it's done with bacon. |
| #45demiteddybearMar 03, 2009 3:09:07 | Weaving is manly if it's done with bacon. Took the words right out of my mouth. And that looks really yummy, in a manly way |

| #48crossroads_wandererMar 03, 2009 15:46:21 | ![]() I couldn't continue watching after the Captain Planet reference, I was laughing too hard. |
| #49demiteddybearMar 03, 2009 16:28:19 | It smells so good it smells like angels having lesbian sex....if angels smelt like meat ![]() and the captain planet reference was pure win. |
| #50ciaranMar 03, 2009 22:05:45 | Massive burger patties with bacon crumbles and bleu cheese crumbles mixed in is alright in my book. |
| #51Lord_VentnorMar 03, 2009 23:30:35 | Massive burger patties with bacon crumbles and bleu cheese crumbles mixed in is alright in my book. It's more than alright. It's manly. :fight!: |
| #52mock26Mar 03, 2009 23:32:21 | No video, no pics, but a great recipe. The Heart Attack Special, by Mock26 Cook a panful of hash browns with diced onion, diced green peppers, and diced serrano peppers. Add in an entire package of cooked and diced breakfast sausage. Add a small pile of diced canadian bacon. When everything is cooked to your liking add in 6 beaten eggs and chili powder and stir everything together and keep stirring until the eggs are cooked. Turn off burner, throw on several cups of grated cheese, put cover on pan and let sit until cheese is all melted. Serve on warm tortillas with hot sauce. |
| #53dirtyfrankMar 05, 2009 1:51:56 | Does anybody know of any other videos of cool cooking? ![]() |
| #54demiteddybearMar 05, 2009 3:44:21 | Heston Blumenthal It doesn't show much of the cooking involved, but it shows what kind of cooking he does..if any of you have heard of him you'll know what a genius/ whacko this guy is :D |
