| #1october_darknessSep 08, 2009 20:07:12 | Ok, so I'm giving you fair warning that I'm not the most photogenic guy around. Anyways, it's sometimes hard to put a name to a face. So I've decided to start this thread. If your avatar already shows you, post up the picture so that we can get a better look. Ok, we'll start with me:
|
| #2pigknightSep 08, 2009 20:08:14 | I do not want to know what you do with the dog. |
| #3october_darknessSep 08, 2009 20:09:55 | Post up your pic, PK... and the dog for some reason or another, likes to get frisky. It's my girlfriend's dog. |
| #4pigknightSep 08, 2009 20:14:15 |
To much information...
Also I have no pics of me, and my sister took the camera and broke the scanner. >_< |
| #5EscherEnigmaSep 08, 2009 20:17:07 | ...Sure, why not. I'll attack you all with pictures of me again.
Ready for it? Fair warning, I am shirtless in half these picks, and in one I am, in fact, shaking my booty.
Here we go... ... and in case you forgot (or never saw it to begin with), I present to you a picture of that one time I got into my straight roommates pants (and weird mesh shirt thing). ![]() |
| #6awesome_dudeSep 08, 2009 20:17:57 |
For a furry. For a normal person a dog getting frisky is cute. EDIT: LOL@leather pants and mesh shirt. |
| #7KillerGMSep 08, 2009 20:18:58 | I have pictures of my new hair somewhere. I haven't taken them off my camera yet. I'll see about posting some of them tonight/tomorrow. |
| #8pigknightSep 08, 2009 20:22:17 | Wow, considering how much time I spend here I guess I don't needs the brain bleach no more. |
| #9EscherEnigmaSep 08, 2009 20:29:18 |
I miss my emote... |
| #10awesome_dudeSep 08, 2009 20:34:08 | True mastery means expressing your feelings without smilies. Like I have since forever and deluded myself into thinking is true mastery. |
| #11owls_and_more_owlsSep 09, 2009 3:35:15 | Ok, fine. Here's my picture. |
| #12idhrinielSep 09, 2009 4:56:13 | wow owls...and lol pk, you should se the cthulhu pic on ur facebook =P |
| #13zombie_babiesSep 09, 2009 8:37:28 | Didn't we already have this thread? Twice? |
| #14fridaSep 09, 2009 12:31:51 |
Strange I always pictured you more like a real person, or maybe like an giant owl that can write with its beak.
Yes he is kind of cute but you have to wonder if he often has a habit of holding cut off hair to his face. |
| #15EscherEnigmaSep 09, 2009 13:29:39 | Yes he is kind of cute but you have to wonder if he often has a habit of holding cut off hair to his face. Only every other year when I cut it all off. Kinda funny that I don't have any pics online with my long hair, only pics right after I cut it. Edit: Ok, in the leather pants pic you can sorta see the long hair, but it's not really a great pic to show off my fabulous hair. |
| #16KillerGMSep 09, 2009 14:33:30 |
Yeah, but these are the new forums! ![]() |
| #17owls_and_more_owlsSep 09, 2009 14:41:52 |
Well yes that is also true, But when I play Team Fortress 2 I play as the spy, clutching the controler in my cruel talons. |
| #18EscherEnigmaSep 09, 2009 14:43:11 | Come'on people, I put up a pic of me in leather friggin-pants. Are ye all pansies or something?1 ------- 1Please note, this does not apply to minors who, for various reasons, shouldn't put up any personal identifying information. Not being a minor I'm free of such concerns and am more then happy to put up pictures of me with weird hair or weird outfits all willy nilly like. |
| #19zombie_babiesSep 09, 2009 15:06:06 |
A'ight. Currently listening to 6 Underground. Not that you'd care ...
|
| #20pluisjenSep 09, 2009 15:50:15 | I'm the guy on the left (and yes, I'm dressed like a pirate, and no, I don't usually dress like a pirate. I do look like one though)
|
| #21KillerGMSep 09, 2009 16:53:22 | That girl looks familiar, but I don't know how ... |
| #22ogrehooperSep 09, 2009 21:13:20 | Oh, so you want to see my ugly face? Your nightmare sirs.
Family Photo
Not a family photo, though taken in the nursury. Kind of sad, in retrospect. And finally, since I dont have a picture of me in pleather pants like a previous poster (though I do own a pair...), I leave you with this monstrosity:
|
| #23pluisjenSep 10, 2009 8:30:36 |
Unless you live in the Netherlands I doubt you've seen her |
| #24zombie_babiesSep 10, 2009 12:12:33 | Is that a Cabela's hat? Man, I've given them guys way too much money. I'm just glad that I discovered Midway before it was too late. A lot of the same stuff waaaay cheaper. Though going to the Cabela's store in Dundee Michigan on the way home from our fishing trip was way cool. Those stores really are something else. Live fish in fake streams and taxidermy that'll blow your mind. Oh! And that uber high end gun room! I never thought I'd see the day that I'd be looking at a price tag for a rifle that topped $30k. Great stuff in that room. |
| #25KillerGMSep 10, 2009 12:16:11 |
*shrugs* She must have one of those faces. |
| #26october_darknessSep 10, 2009 13:18:39 | Here's another picture of me, after my haircut.
|
| #27pigknightSep 10, 2009 18:28:52 |
Is it just me or does HATED look like an evil mastermind? |
| #28pigknightSep 10, 2009 21:35:17 | For the unabridged version: Is it just me or does HATED look like an evil, red-neck mastermind? ((It's the mustache)) |
| #29ViolenceJackSep 10, 2009 22:10:19 |
It's impossible to hate Johnny Cash. |
| #30owls_and_more_owlsSep 11, 2009 1:13:35 |
I don't hate him, but I can't really say that I ever find myself in the mood to listen to him. I'd much prefer listening to some Nick Drake or something folky like that. |
| #31ADHadhSep 11, 2009 5:37:20 | There is no way you're getting a picture of me. Just none. |
| #32kraikSep 11, 2009 6:13:05 | well, heres a few of me (i have one as my Avatar but i'll repost that one anyway) Their was this cool looking boat exhibit in an art gallery in san diego last time i went Another shot from When i want to San Diego This is a shot of me and my partner in Portugal (ignore the cheesey smile if you will please :P) -Kraik |
| #33zombie_babiesSep 11, 2009 8:06:33 |
QFT. One thing to remember, kiddies: Jonnny Cash was not a country artist. The man was Goth to the core. The Man in Black. Ain't no more goth than that. |
| #34Mad_JackSep 12, 2009 2:48:45 | Bleh. Just because I do stupid things at 4am. Same pics as the other thread - the last time *I* wore plastic pants was around the time I learned to walk, lol. |
| #35idhrinielSep 12, 2009 5:34:52 | why did you take a picture of your eye??? and how?? because i always try to do it but all i get is a green splotch |
| #36oxybeSep 12, 2009 9:24:53 | found the old pics from an older thread taken with my cruddy webcam.
haven't changed at all, well i'm a bit better combed since i'm at work :P |
| #37dirtyfrankSep 12, 2009 9:35:48 | Didn't we already have this thread? Twice? Yes
I'm sorry dude but ya sort of look like a Steelers fan. =P Well you sort of look like one of those nascar watching bass fishing kind of guys. For the unabridged version: Did ya know that redneck is a sorta complement for southerners? It was a heroic term given southerns for rising up against the man that was payin' them horrible wages and having them work in bad conditions and stuff. |
| #38pigknightSep 12, 2009 12:24:00 | HATED, want the title "Resident Redneck"? It's alliterative. |
| #39ADHadhSep 12, 2009 15:29:25 | This thread belongs to "Races and Monsters" I believe. |
| #40awesome_dudeSep 12, 2009 15:39:22 |
I LOL'd. |
| #41bo0kw0rmSep 13, 2009 6:59:12 |
If I'd been drinking milk, it would be coating my screen right now! ROFL!!!!!!
|
| #42samyueruSep 15, 2009 15:00:15 |
You might have to stick it in your sig, 'cause I'm not even sure they have "titles" like at the old forums anymore. |
| #43KillerGMSep 15, 2009 15:07:31 |
They do (see mine), and it's still controlled by the higher-ups. But he was referring to putting it in his sig, since that's what we've been doing (see my sig). We give ourselves and others titles. On-topic: It's faded now. I'm probably going to go over it all with that red in the middle, cause it turns really cool purple when layered. |
| #44fridaSep 15, 2009 15:26:48 |
Since I've already posted this on the forum I might aswell do it again. Its me, my wall, my couch and my sweater. Nice hair colour Killer GM. |
| #45idhrinielSep 15, 2009 15:54:57 | haha nice hair KGM. can i steal it? =P |
| #46zombie_babiesSep 15, 2009 15:56:56 |
Stabbity? |
| #47KillerGMSep 15, 2009 16:00:17 | *preemptivity stabbity* PS - Frida, can I use your pic for a drawing? There's something about it that I like. |
| #48zombie_babiesSep 15, 2009 16:07:44 | Ow! My gall bladder! Damn you and your amazing reach! I always knew I'd be stabbed down in a gutter some day. I never once thought that the person doing the stabbity would do it from Alaska. While I was in Ohio. Ow! Goodbye cruel world! Tell my fiancee I loved her or make up something else just as cliche! Ma? Ma, is that you? I'm comin' 'Liz'beth! I'm ... what? You can survive without a gall bladder? Bloody hell. |
| #49fridaSep 15, 2009 16:09:02 |
Sure knock yourself out. I would love to see the results though. |
| #50idhrinielSep 15, 2009 16:11:38 |
you can also live without 1 kidney, 1 lobe of the brain, your appendix, and/or part of your liver. i think there may be other things, too. EDIT: I did not include sexual organs. |
| #51KillerGMSep 15, 2009 16:15:00 |
I was actually stabbity-ing the girl who wanted to steal my hair. But I'll take this. Frida: Cool, thanks. I'll be sure to show you. Though it will probably be so long from now that you'll be like "when did you say you were going to to this?" LOL. |
| #52EscherEnigmaSep 15, 2009 16:17:01 | You can live with all sorts of weird things being done to your brain. Steel rod shoved straight through, the hemisphere's being severed from each other, a lobotomy... The brain is really quite flexible. Of course, depending on just what's done you might not be recognizable as the same person (or as a functioning member of society), but what can you do? |
| #53idhrinielSep 15, 2009 16:18:44 |
im hurt, KGM...very hurt. |
| #54EscherEnigmaSep 15, 2009 16:21:31 | If you're merely "very hurt" then either A) You're more durable then you appear I wonder which one it is... |
| #55KillerGMSep 15, 2009 16:22:00 |
That's usually the reaction when one is stabbity-ed.
LMAO. <3 |
| #56idhrinielSep 15, 2009 16:22:51 | **eyeball stabbity** |
| #57KlirshonSep 15, 2009 16:53:54 | Maybe next time you won't suggest to commit hair larceny. As for my own picture... I don't have a camera nor a scanner. I "might" get a picture once I go to the Ohio Renaissance festival. |
| #58dirtyfrankSep 15, 2009 21:10:44 | When you're trying to take a pic of a doorway and the room beyond, it helps if you remove things like your head from the foreground. This way we can see the the focus of the pic such as that thing in the corner. what is that a little thing to keep the kidy from wandering where he shouldn't be?
Nice texture on the wall. It looks nice. It's also neat how the sweater and couch are similar colors and how those contrast or whatnot with the wall and your skin tone. One thing that does look weird, yet interesting, is the lighting on the eyes. It seems that your left eye looks greyish while your right eye looks blue or whatnot. Interesting hair cut too. Do you still have a similar hair style? |
| #59KillerGMSep 15, 2009 21:44:07 |
It was supposed to show off my hair. |
| #60dirtyfrankSep 16, 2009 0:01:11 |
Ohhhhh.I thought it was just a little something extra. Like trying to spice up the pic or something. Cool looking hair by the way. |
| #61fridaSep 16, 2009 7:05:11 |
Thanks I have been photographing a lot so I always pay attention to the background. I have more artsy fartsy selfportraits but I dont want to come off as to pretentious. ![]() My eyes are bluish grey, the light on one side of my face is warm artificial light that makes my eyes greyer and the light on the other side is cold natural light that enhances the blue. I still have roughly the same haircut but my bang is shorter. |
| #62zombie_babiesSep 16, 2009 12:51:28 |
*ahem* *dons Groucho Marx glasses, nose and mustache* *places cigar between index and middle finger, raises it near mouth and waggles it* Not as much as my gall bladder ... /Groucho |
| #63annoyinglizardvoiceSep 16, 2009 13:02:56 | Here's me: annoyinglizardvoice.deviantart.com/art/A... and here's me with T-virus: |
| #64CrackerjakeSep 16, 2009 18:57:41 | Here I am! |
| #65fridaSep 16, 2009 19:02:59 |
Ha ha that first picture is so anachronistic I'm lost for words. You look very good in a suit though. |
| #66fridaSep 16, 2009 19:07:27 |
I love that hobgoblin! the beer is also good ![]() |
| #67CrackerjakeSep 16, 2009 19:39:08 |
Haha, that was at the Feast of the Hunter's Moon. The shot was taken in the volunteer camping grounds, hence the 4x4 and the lawnchairs :p |
| #68toastedamphibianSep 16, 2009 19:58:28 |
Bangs, when speaking about hair, is always used in the plural form. "my bangs are shorter." (Not trying to be mean, just seemed like a bit of information you might like to have. It isn't very intuitive, seeing as hair is used as singular it seems like bang would be used as well. You know, because its one aspect of one thing, but for what ever reason, that isn't how it is.) |
| #69fridaSep 17, 2009 4:40:53 |
Ok! thanks, I thought that if it was two stripes of hair it was bangs and if it was only on it was bang. Sometime language don't makes sense, it's always singular in swedish. |
| #70idhrinielSep 17, 2009 5:09:35 | hey do swedish fish come from sweden??? because i love those chewy, gummy, red fish that you can decapitate in one bite. |
| #71fridaSep 17, 2009 7:58:33 |
We do have similar fish shaped candy but we certainly don't call it Swedish fish. |
| #72cherubaddonSep 17, 2009 13:16:51 | ... like the French not talking about French Fries, I presume |
| #73baneofelvesSep 17, 2009 13:19:17 | Hey, this is AMERICA. Since we're all mad at the french for being *******, we call 'em FREEDOM FRIES. Get it right! Turd! :P |
| #74cherubaddonSep 17, 2009 13:30:49 |
Eh, I know, and I totally understand the feeling, but I'm loath to change my vocabulary and don't generally abide by political correctness. And I'm not American |
| #75fridaSep 17, 2009 15:07:27 |
They call it "pommes frites" it literally means fried potato. |
| #76idhrinielSep 17, 2009 15:09:58 | actually, "pomme" means "apple". "pomme de terre" is "potato" |
| #771_ton_ghostSep 17, 2009 15:10:31 |
It is still infinitely preferable to have a Wahrsteiner and a schnitzel over a Budweiser and hotdog. F'ing freedom fries...God. Like an explosion of rhinestones, trucker caps, and bad classic rock. Cue Michael Bay & The Harlem Globetrotters...
Here, for what it's worth. The last thing most of PC's see before the inevitable... |
| #78cherubaddonSep 17, 2009 15:11:29 | I know - that's what I meant when I said I wasn't American; I'm, umm... European (though the Eastern Languages, for all their beauty, are a b*tch to learn). EDIT: There's no "h" in Warsteiner - nothing to do with "truth". Still, glad you like yourself some Pils |
| #79fridaSep 17, 2009 15:22:51 |
Sure! earth apple. |
| #80generalhenrySep 17, 2009 15:38:15 |
|
| #81SvempaSep 18, 2009 4:34:52 |
Europe is made up of several different countries... |
| #82cherubaddonSep 18, 2009 6:30:41 |
No it's not. |
| #83pluisjenSep 18, 2009 7:12:28 | Europe is a continent It contains a bunch of countries, that have a bunch of treaties that make them the European Union. Of course, not everyone is allowed into this union, so there are countries in Europe that are not in the European Union |
| #841_ton_ghostSep 18, 2009 14:11:57 | Rodan wants his sculpture back. Nice pic though btw. "You sure do have a pretty mouth." Where was this shot @? Cherub...I could'a swore there was an 'H' in it. And it is truth damn it, just, you know, in it's liquid form. Though I found Spaten greases the rails faster (quite stiff). |
| #85generalhenrySep 18, 2009 17:06:47 |
maker fair |
| #86Mad_JackSep 20, 2009 6:43:53 |
To show off the really cool sunflower-looking patterns in it - it's actually a fairly out-of-focus shot, and the colors didn't show very well at all. My eyes are actually ice blue, with a golden-yellow starburst pattern around the pupils, brown lines radiating out from them, and a dark grey circle around the outside, and here and there a random dot of black... Like this... I put my camera on a tripod about four or five inches from my face so that the light could shine on it, and took the pic in macro mode...
|
| #87cherubaddonSep 20, 2009 11:50:22 | Though I suggest we discuss the implications over a Maß - so next time you set foot here, let me know, we'll have some Pils. And I'll show you why, for all its international fame, even Warsteiner can't even begin to compare to Krombacher |
| #88dirtyfrankSep 20, 2009 15:57:12 | I still have roughly the same haircut but my bang is shorter. In english ya just use whatever part of speach that sounds best. |
| #89zombie_babiesSep 21, 2009 9:07:14 |
They so have the best slogan ever. It's been too long since I've had me some Warsteiner or Warsteiner Dunkel. I'll have to remedy that after I drink more of that leftover stuff I have. Oh, and a 4-pack of Nosferatu. That stuff is yummy good. |
| #90cherubaddonSep 21, 2009 10:18:51 | Hadn't noticed the English slogan, in fact - priceless. And never had Nosferatu, either, though I'll have to try that one as well for the name alone. Anyhow, if you're in need of refreshing your memories of what Truth tastes like, the invitation is good for you as well, of course. |
| #91zombie_babiesSep 21, 2009 10:30:31 | You may have some difficulty procuring Nosferatu. It's made by a semi-local microbrewery called The Great Lakes Brewing Co. They're up in Cleveland (OH). It's a seasonal brrew - for Haloween, of course - and they don't make much. It's a heavy, flavored beer that (IIRC) is also fairly potent. Somewhere around 9%, I think. It's good stuff, but expensive and not always easy to find. If you can, though, it's worth drinkin'. :D |
| #92zombie_babiesSep 21, 2009 11:38:30 | I'm not that far away. About an hout and a half, IIRC. I live in between Akron and Cleveland - slightly closer to Akron, though. I consider myself a Clevelander since I lived there for a short time during my early years. And I like Cleveland better than Akron even though Akron is somehow doing better than Cleveland. And that ends Z_B's random nonsensical crap that nobody cares about for the day. Er ... for now. |
| #93idhrinielSep 22, 2009 15:44:33 | I think it's kinda funny when people talk about themselves in third person...like Smeagol/Gollum. Smeagol/Gollum was just out of it. |
| #94october_darknessSep 22, 2009 16:51:52 |
I think it's kinda creepy. What if I started posting like, "October_Darkness doesn't like what you say. O_D shall smite you!!!" It is very weird. |
| #95kamikazegerbilSep 22, 2009 17:16:22 |
Kamikazegerbil was about to disagree but somehow as he types this he can't help but feel it seems a little creepy. |
| #96toastedamphibianSep 22, 2009 20:50:06 |
ToastedAmphibian pities the fool! (Oh the wonderful sig quotes of eras past.) |
| #97idhrinielSep 24, 2009 15:29:40 | See what Kayla finds!? Two very, very nice coneys. We rips them and eats them... |
| #98bfishySep 24, 2009 17:16:31 | hi everyone! i guess just check out my profile pics? can't seem to get the picture link to work...probably because i'm a doofus. :P
