Hm. 5 views after mine. I guess none of them are doing anything.

I'm not doing anything. Except that Monday is D&D night. Not to mention that, at this time of night, it's mostly non-Americans on the boards (due to time zone). I know some of the Greek posters are on at this time, at least ...

And Memorial Day is an American holiday, right?

My husband should have off for it, but he doesn't get days off during his deployment ... stupid Army.

My game was last night.

My big plans for this weekend include...
- doing the grocery shopping...
- possibly seeing an afternoon movie today (yay matinee prices!)...
- finishing coloring a picture I've been photoshopping...
- and starting to sculpt a custom mini for my two-handaxe ranger Molly Borden
(whose background is a slight retooling of the Lizzie Borden story into something of a possible family curse)...

I'm going to fire up the bbq, get some beer and whiskey, have some friends come over, and enjoy the day. Actually, I'm doing that Sunday. Monday I'm going to work at time-and-a-half for 8 hours (more if I can).

I'm supposed to go to a BBQ saturday and sunday, then dinner at my parent's house monday. And seven (or more) hours of gaming on Sunday goes without saying.

I was kinda drunk last night too.

*temporarilly recovering from last night's revelry* I know, I know...
Show

-Possible "pre-game" (drinks before concernt, club, etc)
-Getting small group of friends to go downtown for Taste of Cincy. Exploit employee parking pass @ work nearby, walk about, ppl watch, drink (awesome local breweries), eat (Mecklenburg Garden, some Greek, Indian and Cincy chili maybe), monitor spending (pricey), walk to Serpentine Wall (Ohio River park)
-Leave, likely graduate to another bar near UC w/ friends, carouse, mingle.
-G/f wants to go to art haus theatre and see "Repo: The Genetic Opera", so that will come later given likely peer pressure I'm sure to get
-Followed up w/ some Grater's ice cream outside theatre (raspberry chocolate chip is like ambrosia on acid) while we relax in the park for a bit.
-Homeward bound; some alone time w/ g/f, see her off to bed (works Sunday), sink into catatonic stupor from a mix of Call of Duty, Civ, or Direct TV while picking like a bird at some salsa & chips likely.
-Pass out; likely have freakish food/drink induced dream.

-Sunday, normally, that's gaming night, but of course, someone has a wedding to attend, so, drawing a blank on that one. Cook out sounds good though I'll probably refrain from drinking much, if at all.
-Walk through Spring Grove Cemetary, shoot 2, maybe 3 rolls of B/W.
-Come home, take a swim, relax poolside w/ some music and sketch pad
-Probably go home, watch a movie on IFC or whatever the download que is.

-Monday, I'm off anyway (always get screwed at the museum).
-Disc golf w/ Keith
-Trip to 1/2 Price Books (look for old gaming books, cheap DVDs, etc)
-Drive across street to mall; get more paints, a mini or 2, some coffee
-Home, prep dinner for g/f when she returns
-Vaccume, dust, tidy up in general
-Download music, chat on here while waiting for food, etc.
-Play more games or finish painting mini for absent gamer friend

End; Re-engage normal BS lifestyle & routine; return to normal work/downtime cycle.

My plans

-wait for everyone to get drunk at the party

-get a stick

-poke the drunks

-proclaim myself king of the drunks, and beat up anyone who disagrees/challenges me

-set the stick on fire

-establish myself as their god

It almost worked last time. And there will be stronger liquor this time, so I can prolly pull it off entirely this time.

Killed some trolls yesterday. And some Kuo-Toa and Chuul.

And there were two nights of BBQ. Can it get any better?

I went backpacking on the Pacific Coast, but it turned out that I had to pass through that fangirl ridden hellhole known as Forks on the way there . Once on the trail, I (in order) made a warclub out of driftwood, twine, and a rock (Saturday); repeatedly pulled my tent away from the incoming tide (not that bad cuz I got to sleep under the clouds, which was nice) (Saturday night); broke a trekking pole when it got caught in a crack in a rock the second time I tripped on the slick, kelp-covered rocks Sunday morning; and singed my hands trying to light my stove.

All in all, not a bad weekend.

*Shudders* Forks... A dark, dark place it be. Darker than the deadest night and darker than the deepest grave.

Aye. One day I shall return, carrying spear, sword, torch, and bearded axe with an army beside me, and it will be burned to the ground. Until then, we must endure that stain.

Agreed with The Hated for mother effin truth :P

Shame on you Bane.

Should have been more than tried.

At any rate, I watched the Monaco Gran Prix, and the Indy 500. I also took a moment aside to think about the troops.

Had Steak N Cheeses for lunch, on Sunday, dinner on Monday.
