I got: An ASUS EEE netbook! The Adventures of Brisco County Jr. on DVD! The complete series of Faerie Tale Theatre! Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead! Inglourious Basterds! Men With Brooms! The first book of the Prism Pentad! The first two books of the Thorn of Breland trilogy! And a mini-recorder thingy for lectures and notes!      And that's just from my immediate household!  I'll update the list once I get back from my parents' and exchange gifts with my best friend and favourite player.      So!  What'd you get?

They help. Also, something you might find funny might make someone else uncomfortable. Of which if your audience doesn't find it funny then you weren't funny. This seems more of a case of failed delivery.

I was honestly expecting my Nostalgia glasses to have colored it because there was no way it could be as awesome as it was when I was a kid right? It's actually better. I like it now more than I did back then and it also shows just how good cartoons were in the 90s. It's very adult in the issues it deals with and in the way it handles them. The animation quality is good for the most part. Though I do remember the Eframes looking better than that in the show. Maybe they will look better in Season 2. *Hell my Eframe toys and yes I still have them look better than they do in the first season by quite abit. Particularly JT Marsh's and Takagi's.*

Anyway, I got socks from my friends too.  But they are AWESOME socks.  I was commenting on my friends' cool socks, and how I never had any cool socks, and so two of my friends independently got me cool socks.  One friend got me hot pink and black with skulls and stars and stuff, and the other got me a set of knee-highs that are super soft and purple and grey and stuff. Socks are cool!

#73 CCS Dec 28, 2009 16:56:32	Mmm, let's see, I got; .Taken to a movie (Sherlock Holmes) & dinner on the 26th, .several CDs - all classical music (wich is what I wanted) .a new pair of LL Bean slippers, .several shirts, .a book (The Monuments Men) .new daily silverware (I really needed this!)  .several DVDs (Star Trek{new}, ST II/III/IV set, Inglourius Baterds) .my 1st BluRay disc (Star Trek{new}) - My brother didn't realize he'd picked up a BR copy.  Oh well, I was planning to get the player here after Christmas anyways, I just didn't think my first disc for it would be Star Trek.... Assorted gift cards (mostly Visa, + 1 to the local movie theatre, 1 to the FLGS, & 1 for Starbucks) .3 1/48 scale bi-plane models for a WWI aircraft game we're going to start playing at the shop. .And an awesome 1/4 scale statue of Green Lantern (#54 of 1200!) All in all, a pretty good mix.
