Micheal Chrichton, author of Jurassic Park (which got turned into a great movie), the Andromeda Strain (which got turned into an okay movie), Sphere (which got turned into a bad movie), and books that no one has heard about because they weren't turned into movies, died of cancer.

Its really too bad; everyone who was thinking about opening up a dinosaur park can no longer send him a ticket to give him an ulcer. We will miss his misaimed but excellent stories.

Very sad, even if his last few books sucked...

Oh, snap! I was going to watch The 13th Warrior tonight! Well, I guess there's still time...

Better yet, encase him in amber and revive him later.

Well that kinda sucks. (I was about to start rereading Jurassic Park again yesterday... it's been a few years)

Good author though. At least the books of his that I read anyway.
