I havnt followed comics in a little while, last I remember Eddie Brock had cancer and the symbiote left him and joined with the Scorpion or some ****, and is Bullseye still Hawkeye? or was that just in an alternate reality? Comics are so confusing nowadays.

Comics are so confusing nowadays. Currently Flash Thompson is a G.I. Venom. He's a corporal of the U.S. Army, follows orders and doesn't have a no-kill code. Combines super-soldier type combat with spider powers and Venom's ooziness and is often on the brink of losing control (one time when he went after Eddie Brock the symbiote took over and he went full Venom).
