A little while back, I decided it would be fun to tell the story of a campaign...from the OTHER direction: Instead of starting with the adventurers who are sent to kill the evil wizard, I'd tell the story of the wizard himself and his own trials and tribulations.
And from there, I decided to tell a "falling from darkness" story. After all, how many tales have we seen of the noble hero who gradually follows one rationale after another until he has completely fallen to the path of darkness? What happens when a dark wizard starts rationalizing in the OTHER direction?
So, loosely based upon the DnD world, here's "Modi's Tower".
