I'm posting so that I can share some awesome dungeon pics with you all.
As a brief background, I've been friends with my parents for a long time and they're the ones that originally got me into D&D. My wife, some friends and I have been playing D&D with them for years now. My mother loves architecture and interior design so I bought her a few sets from Dwarven Forge and I've been buying her more over time. (They are amazing, but expensive).
Anyhow, here's some of her recent work:

More to come...

Just a few more.
I should mention--y'know, for entertainment's sake--that she got pretty crazy about this:
"Finally managed to use ALL my pieces by rearranging the kitchen/loo/&2 wizards' rooms, by adding a back hallway. The kitchen is bigger now, w/ a better space for cooking fireplace.  Also, the is a door between the bar/serving area and kitchen so that they don't have to keep running up and down the staircases."
Heaven forbid the wait staff in the dungeon should have to run up and down a staircase all day.
Tongue out

Note the wraiths in the darkness. Pretty sweet. 'Course mom confused them with liches (who, in my experience prefer thrones and Cadillacs) and mispelled lyches, but that's beside the point.

Nice dungeons.

Speaking of, I haven't seen him since before New Years.  Hope he didn't get eaten by one of them Canadian moose.

Maybe not a moose but Caribou... that can do damage for a while.

He's been on a few times. He previously mentioned he would be working 2 weeks (I think) doing 20 hour days and I think he mentioned 8 or 10 of those hours would be spent training someone else.

He's training future generations of radical ideologue Quebec Separatists? Oh, great... Tongue out

Back on topic, Dwarven Forge makes some really great stuff, but gawdalmighty is it expensive...

Yeah, Dwarven Forge is super nice but super expensive. Back when I used to go to conventions, you could usually get buy them in person for about 2/3 retail. It's been a while, so I've had to order online the last few years. At least I buy a year's worth of gifts at once to save on shipping.
Mom's repainted a few things.
