| #1pigknightAug 07, 2009 18:56:41 | :O How do you think it'll end? |
| #2owls_and_more_owlsAug 07, 2009 19:08:26 | Slowly. |
| #3KillerGMAug 07, 2009 19:08:44 | With lots of touching moments. |
| #4pigknightAug 07, 2009 19:11:54 | My sister thinks Monk and Natalie will get hitched. I think that would be out of character. I think that Monk will find Trudy's killer and forgive him, then arrest him, but somehow the killer will die. |
| #5dirtyfrankAug 07, 2009 19:12:22 | I hope it doesn't end with lots of touching moments though I wont be surprised if it does. With this being the last season it would be the perfect time for the ending of the mystery behind the death of Monk's wife. |
| #6LordManshoonAug 07, 2009 23:26:37 | Drug-induced killing spree. What? I can dream, can't I? |
| #7XeadinAug 08, 2009 0:28:22 | Awwwwwwwww... but I like Monk... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
| #8midnitepoisonAug 15, 2009 23:32:45 | i hope he finds trudy's killer |
| #9idhrinielAug 16, 2009 6:18:40 | my mom's thinkin that when Monk finds out who killed Trudy, it would be someone close to him, but i'm thinking that something will happen to monk |
| #10squidyakAug 16, 2009 10:38:01 | I'm guessing that finding Trudy's killer is resolved in a two-parter at the very end. Dale the Whale will make an appearance, but die in the first part. Natalie will get married. Sharona will need Monk's help at one point during the season. Randy will come into his own, maybe transfer. Stottlemeyer will go on being Stottlemeyer. There'll be some issue with his ex-wife and son. I'm kind of disappointed with the first two episodes though, it seems like they're just going through the motions. |
| #11thelorekeeper_dupAug 16, 2009 12:21:41 | I wonder if Natalie and Randy will fall in love??? maybe not. Idhriniel , I think your mom is probably right. I definitely think Monk will forgive Trudy's killer, probably because he imagines Trudy telling him that's what she would want. |
| #12thelorekeeper_dupAug 16, 2009 12:22:12 | I liked the second episode, not the first though. |
| #13pigknightAug 16, 2009 12:22:19 | Randy is Trudy's killer! :O |
| #14thelorekeeper_dupAug 16, 2009 12:22:48 | no. just no. |
| #15pigknightAug 16, 2009 12:26:22 | It would make sense. Randy fakes being stupid to throw Monk off. Randy is in love with Stottlemier, but doesn't want Monk and Leeland to be friends, so he blew up Trudy in an attempt to make Monk kill himself, but that backfired. |
| #16idhrinielAug 16, 2009 12:27:08 | aww but i like randy |
| #17thelorekeeper_dupAug 16, 2009 12:28:23 | same here, I loved that Big Gulp/Slurpee episode lol |
| #18pigknightAug 16, 2009 12:30:06 | Alternatively: Leeland is Randy's father and Monk is an alternate reality version of L. Which makes Randy Kira! :O Maybe Randy has been manipulating Dale and all of the other criminals in a Xantos Gambit to do some big hiest. :O |
| #19thelorekeeper_dupAug 16, 2009 12:32:12 | Why do you insist on Randy being evil. GASP! I figured it out Sharona's son Benji is behind it... it all makes sense now! |
| #20pigknightAug 16, 2009 12:34:34 | No one is that dumb. And Natalie is Misa. Natalie killed the man in cold blood (in the episode where she was introduced) and Randy planted the evidence. The guy was trying to get the moonrock because Randy paid the guy to get it and had Natalie kill him so he wouldn't have to share the money. |
| #21thelorekeeper_dupAug 16, 2009 12:40:09 | lol |
| #22thelorekeeper_dupAug 16, 2009 12:43:34 | whats Misa mean? |
| #23pigknightAug 16, 2009 12:44:44 | Watch Death Note. L is the world's best detective, but he has OCD. Light is the bad guy that everyone thinks is a good guy. Misa is Light's blond sidekick. |
| #24idhrinielAug 16, 2009 12:48:07 | dude Moonlight on scifi is awesome...vampire detective 4tw! and he gets scary too whereas monk is not quite as scary except when it comes to the attention to detail |
| #25dirtyfrankAug 16, 2009 20:35:42 | I think finding Trudy's killer would probably be one of the worst ways the show can be ended and so I'm thinking that's what will happen. |
| #26squidyakAug 17, 2009 4:24:06 | I think finding Trudy's killer would probably be one of the worst ways the show can be ended and so I'm thinking that's what will happen. Why would that be bad? Trudy's death has be Adrian's biggest obsession and ending the series without allowing him to close that book would be one of the worst endings in TV history, right up there with Seinfeld being sent to prison for not interfering with an armed robbery or Jessica being in front of a firing squad the last episode of Soap. |
| #27idhrinielAug 17, 2009 10:48:59 | the main question is that of "who killed trudy?" or..what if monk dies **gasp** and goes to see trudy in a clean, sterile heaven? (that would be a bad ending) |
| #28dirtyfrankAug 17, 2009 11:04:51 | To Monk, Trudy's death is a big thing. It would be a big ending. It would need to be done very well or be fail. Most shows fail at this point if they haven't failed already. It needs to be just right or else it will just fall short. It will probably be a 2 part episode and half of the second one will be all over dramatic mushy mush stuff that will just kill the show for me. Why do I say this? Cuz that's usually where stuff like this goes. It goes right into fail territory. I'm fine with an OK or good ending for the show. There is no reason for it to need to make a great ending. I'm fine with Trudy's killing going unknown. That's been one of the cool things about the show. It's never been revealed or found out. IMHO if he finds out it will kill the show and there's no point in killing it on the last episode. Sure it brings closure to the show but her death is just one of his driving forces and not the center of the show. It's not important to me. I'd just hate to see the show strike out trying to hit a grand slam. |
| #29modern_iconoclastAug 17, 2009 14:58:20 | I don't have a DDi account, so I cannot see the previews for the Monk. |
| #30pigknightAug 17, 2009 15:02:11 | ...Epic fail. |
| #31dirtyfrankAug 17, 2009 15:58:46 | pk, you've got to say it like this: |
| #32zombie_babiesAug 17, 2009 16:00:37 | ...Epic fail. ^^ This post? |
| #33idhrinielAug 17, 2009 16:27:33 | pk, you've got to say it like this: |
| #34dirtyfrankAug 17, 2009 16:32:09 | did you get that from icanhascheezburger.com? I got it from a google search of "Epic Fail". It was on the first page. |
| #35zombie_babiesAug 18, 2009 8:16:56 | did you get that from icanhascheezburger.com? ^^ This question? |
| #36darth_singeAug 27, 2009 19:06:56 | well, with past episodes of Monk, you usually get a bad or sad ending, immediatelty following the happy ending. I don't think Natalie and Monk will get together, however I do think that Monk will find Trudy's killer, and if there is a conspiracy it is only going to go so far as Leland withheld some small evidence that he either felt was unnecessary for Monk or didn't know it was there.
I think that after Monk finds Trudies killer, he will have a few moments of "Oh wow, I am cured" and then at the very last he'll do something very Monkish, like go back and touch something.
I also thought he might die in the end, but the show is partially humorous, so I think he will live (Because USA and thier parent companies love to do TV movies down the line, right SyFy?)
Wasn't trudy working on some big story anyway when she was killed? Did they ever resolve that? because I am sure it might come back if it hasn't been. |
| #37bo0kw0rmAug 31, 2009 18:28:53 | Hitman episode was good, intense ending too. |
