No, not really. Sometimes people bite the bullet and put someone they really don't like into a position because they are the best person for the job, even if you detest them and make life difficult for them as a group. Sorta like how Rush Limbaugh had Elton John play as his (most recent) wedding, or the RNC had Micheal Steel as chairman for a year or two.

It's called cognitive dissonance, and people are really good at it.

the Canadian army is more fun. They have all sort of rules for transgenders people.

Interesting. The US Army just doesn't allow them at all, and still won't even after the DADT policy gets repealed.
