I got 1 million dollars, you know what im going to spend it all on video games, crappy video games at that yay! I just really dont get it at all, these are definitely two people with too much time and money on their hands.

Some people are collectors. It's a personality trait - they tend to get a bit obsessive and uber-focused. There's a huge sense of accomplishment in completing a collection.
