| #1zombie_babiesOct 15, 2012 13:32:41 | So I've been listening to a lot of Pandora an' stuff lately cuz I've been in spreadsheet mode. Anyhoo, I done come up with this here idear: I'm gonna list two songs that've popped up on my incredibly random channel (or stuff I've just randomly happened upon lately) and ask ya'all to vote on which one ya'all like. When I think there's a winner, I'll post another song to go against that'n. Don't know if anyone cares to try but why not, yanno? So ... uhh, yeah. Here we go: Ellie Goulding - Lights (Bassnectar remix) Or: Panic Lift - Temptress Two totally different genres but that's how I roll. And yes, I tried to embed both but Onesite sucks. |

| #4The_SilverswordOct 16, 2012 0:55:52 | It just wouldn't let me do it for some reason. Kept bricking. Paste into word then copy again then past here, I dont know why but it works. And so far im not liking the first one, sounds like its from a commercial or something, ohhhhhhhh, it is a commercial, give me a sec, Well the first one has kinda a "spacey" sound to it, kinda reminds me of some early Floyd, you sure you dont like them? The second one has more of a "darker" vibe to it, I think I like that one better, not that I would rush out and buy the album or nuthin but it aint bad. |
| #5summerdreamOct 16, 2012 11:24:40 | I love Ellie Goulding and Light. Especially that version gives me goosebumps. ![]() |
| #6zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 11:55:49 | Yeah, the Bassnectar version is pretty sweet. If you liked that, check this out: |
| #7zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 11:56:44 | Oh, and this: |
| #8summerdreamOct 16, 2012 12:07:38 | I like this one too www.youtube.com/watch?v=gH2efAcmBQM |
| #9summerdreamOct 16, 2012 12:08:49 | Oh, and this: Oh.my.gosh, this is awesome. I may have a new favorite song. ![]() |
| #10zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 12:13:15 | Yeah, she's pretty good. Lots of talent, unique style, cute and she can dance. Proof god hates most of us, really. ;) EDIT: I'm gonna check that one you posted in a minute. Just waiting for this to finish: Same guy that remixed that Jes song I posted. He's all over the place musically which is kinda cool. There's a neat remix of this track, too. |
| #11summerdreamOct 16, 2012 12:15:45 | Definitely lot's of personality. www.youtube.com/watch?v=vxIOUJ7by6U&feat... |
| #12zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 12:21:29 | I like this one too Hmm. Not my style. Has given me some potential insight into yours, however. Try these: Roisin Murphy - Dear Miami Lucius - Turn it Around |
| #13zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 12:40:10 | Now for something completely different: God Lives Underwater - Tricked The Clay People - My Xploding Head - this'n never fails to wake me up. |
| #14summerdreamOct 16, 2012 12:46:01 | You are really good. How about this one? (love this one, it's got something epic, that moves me) www.youtube.com/watch?v=a1qwBWKl3es |
| #15zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 13:10:50 | You are really good. Hmm. Interesting but not my style. I can't really pinpoint why, though. Like, I can definitely listen to it but I wouldn't seek it out, I guess. Odd (the impression it gives me). Hmm. Maybe it's too happy? Like, I only like happy when it's ironic. Like, a happy song about drunk driving (sorta ). Or a synth-poppy beat in a tune about pure hatred. That sort of thing, yanno? But that's me - and though my taste is impeccable, I don't know that those are for you. So try this: Dragonette - Fixin to Thrill. That may be in your wheelhouse, I dunno. If not, there's always HIM, Poisonblack, Negative and Lacrimas Profundere to explore ... different style altogether but quite good. |
| #16zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 13:13:43 | Hmm. Finding that Dragonette song for ya, I happened upon this: I ... I think I like it. |
| #17summerdreamOct 16, 2012 15:02:04 | I don't have a certain style either. I listen to so may different things, from opera to classical, techno, rap, rock, pop, country. It's not really specific. Linkin Park, Mozart, Eminem, Dixie Chicks, Adele, Bach, Indra, and I love Musicals, especially Phantom of the Opera (loved the Lindsey Stirling Version), dark, happy, love, for rainy day. German, Japanese, Swedish, Danish, French, English... from Joi Veer youtu.be/z2Ma9pxqKLU FingerEleven youtu.be/0AohgGLfVdg Soehne Mannheims (Und wenn ein Lied) youtu.be/RtuW08ZIgvg Adele (Someone like you) www.youtube.com/watch?v=jCya1yiFFP4&feat... Silbermond (Das Beste) www.youtube.com/watch?v=cqcXnjAx7dk to music where just have to start to dance :D www.youtube.com/watch?v=tIEyUSWul0w to 12 Stones www.youtube.com/watch?v=cizTqgPQp0o to stuff like that youtu.be/kg0i3nYTmJE to TheCapitanMan (awaken the Orchestra) love love love it. www.youtube.com/watch?v=UMAwogq2VG8 |
| #18zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 15:10:30 | Quite the varied taste, I see. Very nice. ![]() |
| #19summerdreamOct 16, 2012 15:15:19 | Quite the varied taste, I see. Very nice. Every thing else is boring. There is so much out there to see, listen and explore. Kind of sad when somebody is stuck in a certain direction and not openminded enough to explore, isn't it? ![]() |
| #20zombie_babiesOct 16, 2012 15:19:35 | Yar, that it be. My Pandora channel is kinda set up like that. It's where I find a lot of stuff these days. Like today, for example, I've had everything from Nirvana, Pearl Jam and Soundgarden to Korpiklaani, Eluveitie and Apocalyptica to stuff like Monster Magnet, Apoptygma Berzerk, VNV Nation, Imperative Reaction, Ashbury Heights and so on. A weird trip, man. But it's fun. ![]() |
| #21zombie_babiesOct 24, 2012 15:45:08 | My new favorite song (for now): |
