| #2pluisjenDec 29, 2011 6:24:57 | If everyone where like that, we'd be hitting the 50 BILLION people mark in about 50 years. So be glad these people are still an exception. |
| #3zombie_babiesDec 29, 2011 8:22:30 | If you breed enough, at least some part of the world stands a fair chance of being made as you've imagined it. |

| #5LFKDec 29, 2011 11:05:02 | Assuming you imagined it to be overcrowded That's my neck of the world. Grand Prarie, Alberta, is the middle of nowhere: it's all farms and coal mines. Overcrowding doesn't even register on their problem set out there because the local economy still functions off the logic that the more family you have the more hands there are to get the work done. Sure, this family is unusually large, but 5-7 kids is normal for rural Alberta families, and more than that isn't unheard of. 16 kids gets a "that's unusual" not a "HOLY MOTHER OF **** WHAT THE **** DO THEY PUT IN YOUR WATER?!" |

| #7zombie_babiesDec 29, 2011 13:36:07 | Yeah, that stuff is wonderful. And I'm so excited that Ohio is the new 'it' place for Frackers to go. And I'm even more excited that every landowner I know in the area that they're currently focusing on has leased their oil and gas rights to the gas companies. And I'm super duper excited that the first well in Ohio was placed on property that I used to hunt on. It's awesome. Like, totally. |

(Yay, Irish Catholics!) However, out of the fifteen born in Ireland there were only seven left by the time they came to the US - my uncle John, the second youngest, was born on the boat over from Cork and my father was the only one born a US citizen. |

All I know is what I've seen - nearly a mile long road run through the property to set up one well. All that land is now useless to the farmer and the wildlife that lived there up to that point. It's empty dirt. Well, except for the machinery. |
