But now I have started to take the game more seriously and I an in DIRE need of a book, sadly nobody I know is willing to let me have one and I personaly have no way of buying one. Personally, I wonder why I(or anyone else) should hand you anything? If you're a Lord, you should have retainers to give you anything you require, and gather taxes to be able to buy things with.

More likely this is an ID:10-T error resultant from his PEBKAC, or at minimum an evacuation of any and all grey matter from the Poster's person. Maybe he thinks someone upstream at WotC will take pity on him and send him a complete set.

Personally, when I was and poor impoverished, I used to have to hit up a temp agency for a day of hard labor to pay for a book.

I was thinking along similar lines. Heck - it takes less than 4 hours to clear my walk and driveway (winter time = snow), and I usually toss the kids $40-$50 or so. That should be more than a book. (and my 11 year old can handle that job)
instead of going out for a 10-15$ lunch, make a sandwich & grab an apple. repeat over several days & you'll eventually save money.
Depression is just a feeling and as such can be overwhelmed with other feelings.
It's like the only thing feelings are good for, besides art and trying to relate to other people.
