Uh...I have a small, HUGE dilemma regarding these forums.

I created a neat race for 4th Edition D&D (you'll find it here:
http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=1154160 ), and I'd really like to add an illustration to the post, just so you can see what a Gwyll looks like. Problem is, I have absolutely no idea if I can, or if I can, how, to add images to a forum post. http://forums.gleemax.com/images/smilies/frown.gif

I know of no way to upload an image directly to the forums. They dont want to store your picture. You need to upload your picture to some other internet adress. Then you link to it with IMG tags. Just put in the http address of your image and put [/IMG] behind it, and [IMG] in front of it.

... TA, why did you describe it backwards?

example: IMAGE(http://forums.gleemax.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
to do that, I used the code [noparse]IMAGE(http://forums.gleemax.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)[/noparse]

But yeah, as TA said, you have to host the image somewhere else. Photobucket is a good place, or if its your own original art you can use an art site like DeviantArt.

Oh yeah, if someone else ever does something fancy that you want to know how they did, you can just hit the 'quote' button to see it. It won't quote their signature, so youcan't see the code for that, but for anything in the actual post it can be useful.

Because I never think to use [Noparse][Noparse][/Noparse][/Noparse] tags, and if you do it backwards it dosn't try to follow them.

Oh. That makes sense.
