A few good ones I have manged to find on there recently:
Amadeus -Hadnt seen this one in years, they made us watch it in music class back in like the 8th grade and I was thinking oh man this is going to be soo lame, but actually it was pretty good. Made the wife and kids watch it with me, one of the kids even sat through the whole thing! I think its like 3 hours long, so it is a pretty lengthy movie, but its got so much going for it, humor, suspense, drama, and boobies!! And it teached you some history as well and you learn some interesting things about ol Wolfgang, like he had the most annoying laugh! I liked it even better whatching this time around, I think a lot of the humor was lost on me the first time I saw it.
Hellraiser IV:Bloodlines -Yes, its a good movie. I thought so anyway. Im not really into the Hellraiser movies, but this one was pretty good. It explains the orgins of the puzzle box so really you can watch this one without seeing any of the other ones. THe story takes place far in the future, so its got a sci-fi angle to it as well, and its basically this guy talking about how the box came about and everything so theres these flashbacks that take place in different time periods, so its almost like watching 3 movies in one! The effects are pretty dated, and they use alot of gore, but it is a Hellraiser movie after all, but all in all a pretty solid flick I thought.
Anvil! the story of Anvil -Love this movie, Ive talked about this one quite a bit, but I never hear any one else mention it, am I the only one thats seen this one? Its a touching and inspirational movie I thought. If you havnt seen it I highly recommend it, but of course I liked Hawk the Slayer, so I guess my recomendations dont count for much haha.
Ladyhawke -This was a movie I really liked as a kids, I just recently watched it again and was quite impressed with it. Had alot more story to it than I remembered, as a kid I remember Rutger Hauer riding around on his horse with that bad ass sword hacking people, but theres alot more going on than just that, theres an epic love story in there! Its funny the things we dont pick up on as kids.

We just finally got around to watching The Machinist on Netflix. Man, that was as good as everyone told me it would be. Rare.
You can also get the BBC Top Gear show streaming, which is hilarious!
We just watched The Adjustment Bureau (DVD only), which was better than I thought it would be. It had a lot of "standard" stuff, but also a lot of interesting stuff. I really liked what Terrance Stamp's character did in the end.
We're getting Sucker Punch tomorrow - so excited!!
I started watching Lie To Me (tv show) which is pretty interesting, then I fell out of watching it. Then my husband started watching it because it was recommended to his class, and now he's passed me!
It's loosely based on a dude who discovered what's called "micro expressions", the little things your face does based on emotions (he actually researched it using blind-from-birth people, to discover that certain expressions are near-universal)Repo: the Genetic Opera is a good one, too. Kind of an old premise (repossession of organs, evil corporations, etc), but I like the songs and the style.
I tried watching The Usual Suspects, but something was wrong with it and it kept skipping back to the beginning when my bandwidth changed and/or randomly. It only did it with that, so I sent a report to them.
I need to finish watching The Kingdom, a Danish (?) show about a haunted hospital and eeeeeeevil. I've only two episodes left, but it's subtitled, so I have to really watch, rather than what I usually do (listen mostly and do other stuff).
I've also started The Gates, which is apparently a TV show about a gated community of supernaturals. Haven't gotten through the first episode, but it's got vampires!
Um ... yeah. There's more, but I usually do the "browse through everything, take 30 minutes deciding, then get up and do something else" thing.
OH! Pushing Daisies is a great TV show. I love love love love love this show. And Farscape. Both excellent shows to watch. Pushing Daisies is <3 <3 <3 <3. Heck, they even sing part of "Birdhouse in Your Soul" in one of the episodes. How freaking great is that?

That movie was the most horrifying thing I've ever seen. It literally had me in the fetal position shivering. Horror movies don't scare me but Requiem gave me serious nightmares.

I have not read any Pratchett either, but I likes those movies. I had my family watch Hogfather last Christmas, and they loved it. Hopefully we will be getting Going Postal soon, which has already aired in the UK.

Zardoz was very odd, but good. In that same vein there's also Krull and Logan's Run.
I have seen Krull somewhat recently, and I am due for a re-watch of Logan's Run.
Is Logans Run on Netflix? I'll have to watch that one again, I remember the TV show, and was into it as a kid, but I hardly remember the movie, I think I was about 5 when I saw it, the problem is that when I saw it, it was at a drive in paired up with Star Wars, I fell asleep halfway through Star Wars, then woke up about halfway through Logan's Run, I thought it was the same movie! For the longest time I thought Logan was running cause Vader was after him! Hahaha!
