I am starting a new webcomic based on a campaign that I run. The art is all me, and the writing is based on the contributions of my players. Please take a look and critique.

Case in point: Yet Another Fantasy Gamer Comic: normally looks good, colour pages are awful (not linking due to major spoilers and occasional NSFW).
I think you should ditch colours for now. Crappy computer coloured skills can make even the best pencilwork look horrible.

I agree, the pencils of Thryn are much better than the colored pages, and make me actually interested in the character.
As for the latest page ... yeeeeeah, I don't want to touch that with an eleven-foot pole. Let's just say that it's common and would have me pretty much running from the comic.
You don't seem to have any real story up yet, so I can't comment on that, but the cheap use of an anatomically-impossible half-naked chick makes me doubt about the rest of the strip ...
I think reading these blog posts on making a webcomic will help (they're from Lovecraft Is Missing, a well-written webcomic, IMO). Good luck.
Oh, and anatomy studies are your friend. I'm not going to go through every anatomical error, but suffice it to say that you should practice drawing real people before you start to exaggerate their ... um ... features. And by "real people", I mean "not models or porn stars".

I have been playing with making a webcomic, but mostly the idea comes to me while I'm either driving, showering, or feeding the baby, so I have to put it off untill I have time, and by then I just never end up doing it. Meh.
I think the hardest part is not starting (I have tons of started projects), but finishing/continuing - keeping yourself going, even when you don't want to.

This is why I like drinking. It is a proect that is easy to start AND finish. Plus after a few drinks you get that high self-estime you get from doing projects.
I have to disagree. I mean, are we ever truly done drinking? Sure, we may be finished for an evening or even an afternoon ... or possibly a morning .... but that's more a break between sessions than actual completion, isn't it? Those that truly drink are never finished drinking.
I second the suggestion that you nix the colour. It is not well done and your drawings are far stronger without it.
The art is coming along, and improving, at least in my opinion. Thank you all for your suggestions, and feedback. The comic is still in it's infancy, and will continue to evolve.
I know what you guys are saying as well, with life balance playing a huge role in eveything we do for fun.
And ultimately, that's what the comic is- fun.
With that in mind, Drink ON!!!!
