The new Knight Rider movie is on NBC.Com! it was pretty cool, so you should all go check it out.

i believe they did a goog job making it modern yet keeping the spirit of the original. oh, and it is a sequel, not a remake.

Meh. Old news.

Seen the pilot movie earlier this year. It was mmm-okay. They need to tweak the premise some more. My suggestion is to get rid of Val Kilmer as the voice of KITT.

OK, knightrider was awesome, but Cylons are Awesome++

Seriously, Kitt totally stole the red eye that moves back and forth from the Cylons.

is KITT a cylon, or built with cylon technology? perhaps the creator got a cylon from Galactica:1980 and used it to build him. makes you go hmmm....

AFAIC, G:1980 is nonexistent.

Why would I want to be a mindless drone?

Again and in full letter, As Far As I'm Concerned, Galatica:1980 is non-existent. Apocryphal, like Star Trek V: The Final Frontier.

your concerns have been duly noted and filed away with my secretary.

And so, I enjoyed the new Knight Rider, but my little nephews (ages 7 and 4 respectively) found it to be too boring. I can remember being 5 and 6 and loving that show to death.

My 6 yeard old daughterr absolutely loved the show and watched the whole thing (even having me pause it umpteen times for bathroom and snack breaks)

Though people today need instant gratification from any show. you got like what, 6 seconds to hook someone on a show or something? i know they did a study somewhere.

Well, it would be nice if there is any action that would swept me away, but from the way they wrote the pilot movie, it's something that is tailor-made for someone like Pamela Anderson.

And again, the new KITT voice is boring, too much a repeat of the old show. Leave the signature "cultured" voice to Knight Industries Two Thousand. When they promo'ed the new Knight Rider they had a gravelly gritty voice actor named Will Arnett that did Knight Industries Three Thousand. He was a better fit to the modified Mustang.
