| #2ADHadhMay 17, 2013 10:06:31 | Dunno, after the discrepancies between IM3 trailer and the actual movie I'm not too much excited. Then again I'm usually underwhelmed by trailers. |
| #3Ragnar_LodbrokMay 17, 2013 13:57:51 | Giant robots punching giant alien monsters in the mother-[REDACTED] face. In the age of good special effects, by a director known for good use of them. There is nothing more I can possibly want from a film. |
| #4zombie_babiesMay 17, 2013 14:54:14 | *ahem* Bewbage. |
| #5Ragnar_LodbrokMay 17, 2013 15:12:23 | *ahem* It's a summer film. That's a given. I just hope del Toro doesn't pull a Bay and focus more on the "bewbage" than on the giant robot vs giant alien fights. |
| #6zombie_babiesMay 17, 2013 15:27:16 | I think you've been hangin' 'round Klirshon too much. |
| #7ADHadhMay 17, 2013 16:19:06 | Yeah, I think I got fed up with all this "Giant Ninja Robots Fightan Zombie Laser Sharks" type deals a good few months ago. Hence my mild excitement for this film (or why I skipped Sucker Punch or The Man with the Iron Fists entirely). |
| #8draco1119May 17, 2013 16:40:11 | Sucker Punch was PHENOMENAL, dood. And not just for the bewbage. |
| #9draco1119May 17, 2013 18:45:23 | Yeah, but we're talking about, y'know... Attractive women. ![]() |
| #10The_SilverswordMay 18, 2013 0:53:56 | Sucker Punch was PHENOMENAL, dood. And not just for the bewbage. For realz? I was under the impression that I was the only otter that enjoyed that one. |
| #11draco1119May 18, 2013 7:35:50 | Nope. I love that movie. Soundtrack, story, FX, hotties... It's pretty awesome. |
| #12Ragnar_LodbrokMay 19, 2013 0:31:57 | Sucker Punch was PHENOMENAL, dood. And not just for the bewbage. Haven't seen it yet. |
| #13The_SilverswordMay 19, 2013 0:38:17 | Sucker Punch was PHENOMENAL, dood. And not just for the bewbage. You should, and not just for the half naked chicks and cool visual effect, giant robots and all that, its got a pretty interesting story to it too. I'll admit i had to watch it a couple times before I "got it". The first watch through i was more like "what the hell was that!?" |
| #14PontiacMay 19, 2013 0:45:44 | i'll have to check Sucker Punch out, its on Netflix now. |
| #15The_SilverswordMay 19, 2013 0:55:39 | You really should, I love all the genre mashups. |
| #16draco1119May 19, 2013 0:56:44 | Sucker Punch was PHENOMENAL, dood. And not just for the bewbage. I was watching the movie, all into it... And it got to the end & I'm like "Whaaaa?!" It's definitely worth watching more than once. |
| #17zombie_babiesMay 20, 2013 10:05:39 | Isn't it something lame like they're all in a looney bin or something equally stoopid like 'derp, dream bro, derp'? |
| #18The_SilverswordMay 20, 2013 22:41:38 | Isn't it something lame like they're all in a looney bin or something equally stoopid like 'derp, dream bro, derp'? I would argue with you but I cant read your post, for all I know you said Sucker Punch was the besterest movie youve ever seen, yeah im gonna go with that. |
| #19draco1119May 20, 2013 22:46:00 | It wasn't the best, but it was far from the worst (XXX: State of the Union) I've ever seen. Hell, it wasn't even BAD. The cinematography was even more beautiful than the women. |
| #20The_SilverswordMay 20, 2013 23:04:48 | Yeah alot of it is just eye candy, but there is a decent story there as well, and that ending! Well theres a reason its called Sucker Punch, I actually paid money for the soundtrack too, some pretty jammin tunes, I didnt like what they did with Queen, but aside from that pretty solid. |
| #21draco1119May 20, 2013 23:29:12 | Yup. I was slightly bitter that it didn't include Silversun Pickups' "Panic Switch", though. They used the song in all the trailers, but not the movie. |
| #22The_SilverswordMay 20, 2013 23:43:49 | Yeah, seems like theres always at least one song thats not on the soundtrack that should be, Like not having Queen's version of New York, New York on the "A Kind of Magic" album, seriously where can I get a copy of that song thats not just ripped from the movie!? |
| #23pigknightMay 28, 2013 23:55:32 | Considering Del Toro already said this is a shout out to NGE amongst other things, I'm calling it being a psychological thriller and possibly horror. |
