Alright, so i had had the 3.5 rulebooks for quite sometime and rarely did anything with them. I have only recently bought the 4e rulebooks and was actually wanting to join a group. Problem is, i live in Howell, Michigan and no one out here really plays or is willing to let others know they are in a group. So, after a while of thinking i decided i might want to start my own group, there is a Comics and Games store near me and they host DnD minis tourneys and i might look into asking them if they are willing to host games either on weekends or possibly afterhours. Any tips on starting and running a DnD group would be wonderful. Or, if anyone knows of a group near me any info would be appreciated, I can't travel to far as i'm only 15 years old, and before anyone makes a comment on that i just want to say that I am extremely creative and can handle running a group or co-running with another adult. I have taken some first steps in creating a campaign world of my own because i would really like to run a campaign in a world that i created but i have no problems using a modified Forgotten Realms world because i have always been a loyal fan to FR.

I would also like to get into DnD minis, it has always looked fun and I am sure an experienced player at my LFGS can help me learn rules and get into it.

Again, any tips on joing or creating a group would be great and even tips for getting back into and playing the game.

-Thanks
