Wait, so if people are moving around less during the day, they are more likely to be fat? This is groundbreaking!

But... but... we need to ban fried food and sugar because that stuff is making people fat.
Requiring people to sit on their **** for long periods of time have nothing to do with it.

[edit]
Apparently you can say ass, but not the plural form.
Nice work profanity filter.

The president-elect of the American College of Sports Medicine said it was an 'a-hah!' moment.  Guess ya don't need to be all that bright to do that particular job.  ;)

Gee I couldn't imagine that being true.

I mean seriously it has to be wrong. I demand more multimillion dollar counter studies to disprove this!

Exactly. This is what the government wants you to believe. I know plenty of people with office jobs that are not obese. Every office job in the military still requires the people to be in shape and stay under a certain body fat percentage. That conclusively shows that this story is false and we need an independent investigation to be conducted.

I work in an office and I am not fat.  Theory thoroughly debunked.  Carry on.

Yes, thank you Mr. I-DON'T-UNDERSTAND-SUBTLETY.  That'll be all, thank you.
