| #2EscherEnigmaDec 12, 2012 22:35:22 | ... the worst part about that trailer was the spandex scenes. He looks hotter in civvies with a beard. But hey, at least the movie isn't about a fisherman looking for affirmation from his father anymore. |
| #3Robin_HoodlumDec 13, 2012 7:41:15 | DC heroes... Meh. ![]() |

| #5The_SilverswordDec 14, 2012 0:45:35 | I was hoping for a Superman Returns 2. Am I realy the only one who liked that one? |

| #7SadClownIsSadDec 14, 2012 7:40:46 | I'm so glad they finally put out a Superman movie! Now, that is an original idea! Next thing, I suggest they do a Batman movie... |
| #8Robin_HoodlumDec 14, 2012 8:25:27 | I suggest they stop with those sad DC heroes. I hate DC. I'm a Marvel man myself. |
| #9homicidal_squirrelDec 14, 2012 8:33:54 | I suggest they stop with those sad DC heroes. Meh... they're all the same. The DC movies just need to get better writers. The Batman movies were pretty good. Green Lantern... not so much. |
| #10Robin_HoodlumDec 14, 2012 8:35:51 | I suggest they stop with those sad DC heroes. Yeah, I guess most of the Batman movies were ok. I'm just not a fan of DC heroes. I like Marvel much better. When I was a kid (I can remember comic books costing 35 cents!) I read Marvel comics and never really liked the DC heroes. |
| #11aradaineDec 14, 2012 9:25:15 | I am interested in this movie, if only because Chris Nolan produced it. At least I know I'm not in for a lame camp fest like Superman Returns was. |
| #12ADHadhDec 15, 2012 10:18:20 | The problem with DC heroes is that they are too archetypal for their own good and it's more evident with Superman than with any other. Marvel heroes resonated well with the public, because for the most part they defy the archetypes: Spider-Man's a sometimes whiny, sometimes witty kid that associates with a "villainous" animal; Iron Man's a celebrity jerk; Captain America is as insecure as he was before the change and Thor's boisterous (and comes with Loki for the girls), and Hulk's a straight up monster (Hulk movies should pretty much be kaiju). Warner's gonna have a hard time with getting people excited for the Justice League movie. The fact that it was revealed Darkseid would be the villain makes it look worse after that Thanos cameo in Avengers and his upcoming appearance in Guardians of the Galaxy. |
| #13EscherEnigmaDec 15, 2012 13:11:43 | Eh, I've never been too keen on DC's "big three". The further you get from Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman the more interesting it gets to me. I mean, even take Green Lantern... sure, they've had Hal Jordan, but they also had Kyle, Jade, a bunch of others... and the various Robins have always been more interesting then Batman, just like SuperBoy was more interesting then Superman. For that matter, I've actually always liked the sidekicks of the DC universe, and their teen-teams were pretty amusing. But the big three? Eh... Superman just doesn't do it for me, and I think I like Batman more when the writers remember his campy roots. And Wonder Woman pretty much always gets better when the writer opts for her to go with the cestus over the olive branch, but then the next writer goes back to the more matronly aspect and it's just blah again. |

Agreed about Wonder Woman. Anybody other than me remember the Wonder Woman tv show, with Linda Carter? HAWT!!! ![]() |
| #15EscherEnigmaDec 15, 2012 18:25:32 | Wasn't there going to be a new Wonder Woman show or something? What happened to that... |
| #16homicidal_squirrelDec 15, 2012 18:30:33 | Wasn't there going to be a new Wonder Woman show or something? What happened to that... Exactly what you would expect to happen. It sucked so hard that it got canclled. I don't even think it was ever aired. The previews they showed got somany negative comments they show got killed. |
| #17ADHadhDec 15, 2012 19:56:47 | Wonder Woman has no luck. Maybe Green Lantern would be good if they went straight for superhero comedy, with Hal as complete idiot. I mean, he had some infamous moments... |

I used to watch that when I was a kid. Y'know, she did a free show at the local casino last year - she definitely don't look bad for her age. She did the Wonder Woman spin a couple times during the show, and one guy looked like he was going to rush the stage, lol. |
