| #1elondirMar 19, 2009 15:59:54 | Does anybody out there know a link where I can find data for sales figures for niche genres, specifically gothic rock, gothic metal, darkwave, industrial, industrial metal, progressive rock, progressive metal, power noise, experimental noise, and electro? It seems that my preferred styles of music are all lumped into much broader categories in the RIAA reports. Not related, but I'm also collecting daily closing index values for all the world's stock exchanges. I've found the Dow Jones easily back to 1900, but NASDAQ, Hang Seng, etc. seem to be much more difficult to find tables that aren't limited to 30 lines or so. Does anybody know where I might find free data for those? Also a list of major world financial indices would be wonderful. I want to get as huge a data set as possible so I can model how they interact with each other, to see if I can estimate a market bottom and when it's most likely to occur, and any early indicators. |
