Worst of all, if Shaq manages a take down, and Canseco somehow gets up, I don't think Shaq could get up. He may be stuck on the ground until the round is over. That would give Canseco a chance to hit Shaq while the 7 footer is down.

JC getting beat doesn't have anything to do with Shaq's training. The article doesn't really say much. Shaq may have been training for years, but how many years? How often was he training? Several times a week? Once a month? JC has alzo been training for a while. He also did some boxing a few years ago when he was doing the celebrity boxing thing. And as far as Dana White saying that Shaq has the skills, if Dana really believed that, he would have put Shaq in a fight against some heavyweight fighter. If there is one thing Dana White believes in, it's making money. If Shaq had skills, Dana would be pimping him out.
