#3 Mad_Jack Jan 03, 2013 19:53:18	I used to have a cat when I was younger. We built a house for it - sort of like the ones they sell now at pet stores. It was about 3'x3'x3'. When the cat died, we took the carpet out of it, drilled a couple large holes in the sides and put some pegs inside for perches. Then we climbed up into one of the trees in the backyard and wedged the house into a 3-way fork in the branches. The cat house became a bird house. By the time the tree cracked and fell down during a storm about fifteen years ago, the branches had grown completely around the house so that it was set into the tree like a diamond in an engagement ring.  There's also a big tree in the woods near here (or was, as of twenty years ago which is the last time I was out in those woods), that grew up under a 4-ft-diameter glacial boulder and lifted it over a foot off the ground before it started growing up around the outside. It sort of looks like a giant hand holding up the rock...
