#7 zombie_babies Jan 18, 2010 12:08:40	Fool that I am, I checked that out when it first hit the intertoobs (I don't watch Idol).  It hurt my brain.  Sagging is stupid, but that song or whatever it's pretending to be is just awful.  I dropped my pants a couple of inches in protest, actually.  I wonder if that's his angle, though.  Get popular enough to make the song played constantly only to offer the saggers the following: I'll drop the song if you pick up your pants.  I know I'd do it.

#9 dirtyfrank Jan 18, 2010 13:45:33	Well seeing as he's about 30 years above the 28 age limit he should have never made it on air so he's obviously someone they lot on as part of a gag. The sad thing is that he's probably the most entertaining thing to come out of Idol. And the extent of that clip is about the most i've seen Idol. Well once I watched a clip of one of the season winners singing with freddie mercury because a friend said the dude was a great singer. The idol winner. Well I got through that one just to let her know that the idol singer sucked and if he wanted to look good then he shouldn't have been singing with freddie franking mercury. So that would basically be the couple of clips that I've seen of idol which would be like the most I've seen of it. God it's a horrible show. But in a way it's probably the only 'true' reality tv show.

I have mixed feelings on this. Walking around with your undies and ass hanging out is kinda disturbing the peace or being lewd, and I am as sick and tired of it as everybody else. It really does make those people look foolish, immature, and really quite dumb. But I don't think arrest is the answer. Indeed. As was said by Wesley Snipes, playing the character of Simon Phoenix in the movie Demolition Man, "You can't take away people's right to be *******s!"

I'm just currious cuz the guy song with queen and so I just assumed it was mercury not thinking about deaths or nothing. let me google this. It seems that their new singer is Paul Rodgers who ever he is. Either way this guy does sound much like mercury. Enough so that I couldn't tell the difference by listening to them. The difference between the idol winner and the queen singer were so great that the idol guy sounded like a hack.

What makes it good is actually the reaction to it; I think the judges were tired, had heard a lot of just outright bad music that day, and it was comic relief. I can understand that feeling. The bit at the end with all the people singing it together was hilarious. My daughter loves it when I start singing it too, though she (so far) only knows the bit about "pants on the ground," and she doesn't like me calling her a fool. Just a bit of harmless laughing at the crazy guy.
