So I came across my new favorite toy the other day and thought I shoudl share it with you its called ghost seance for iphone. I have always enjoyed using a ouija board to communciate with spirits and now this app comes out that actually summons the spirit using spells and chants. Pretty cool stuff. Does anyone else know of any other unknown techniques for summoning spirits and talking to the dead. I am very interested to hear your stories and suggestions thanks! Smile

Boraxe?  Wherefore art thou, Boraxe?

Seriously?  Ya can't contact spirits.  The end.

I'm gonna assume you meant 'spirits' an' I'm also gonna assume that by 'spirits' you mean 'booze'.  As that's what I'm gonna assume, I'm also gonna agree.  I had me some spirits over the weekend.  Me an' the gal killed the last of our Knob Creek sittin' on the couch watchin' Weeds.  Good times.  And nummy spirits!

Lately I've gone black in MtG.
Actually my MtG playing has been resurrected after I thought it was long dead.

Well if I knew it then it wouldn't be unknown now would it?

We aren't at liberty to discuss such classified information to the uninitiated.  I'm sorry.

Good luck talking to Bob the ghost with your iphone though, just don't be too upset when he steals your girlfriend and makes her go necro....

Step 1: Prove the existence of the spirit, thus answering one of the greatest questions plaguing humankind since it's inception and fundamentally altering our species' understanding of the universe forever.
Step 2: Since no one has ever accomplished Step 1 there is no Step 2.

I'm surprised no one referenced this yet:

There's a good reason nobody referenced it: it's forbidden to speak of he who shall not be named here.  And you know how we OTTers follow the rules.

Well, someone should speak up and warn you heathens of the dangers! You may be saved yet!

Burn the heretic, purge the unclean!

Oh wait we aren't talking about 40k?

First rule about summoning club. You don't talk about summoning club.

I just got an email letting me know my rating would be tossed in the trash if I didn't play in a rated tourney this month.  Time to go get myself into a sealed deck tourney and have some fun.  I hear the new set is fun.

See this is why I don't do official MTG play.

:-p

I do love my deck though. Burn and Counter.

It is actually quite interesting.

Hmm, I've played in a sanctioned event only once back in '08. So my DCI number probably isn't worth much

I just today discovered there's a MtG card shop in my local mall... And apparently it's been there for two years now.
 < scratches head >
Last I remember, it was a tiny little travel agency in that space.

The last time I actively played was around the 6th Ed. core set, and the only deck I have built has a Beta edition Sol Ring in it, lol... But I bought a Copperhorn Scout for a quarter anyway, and now I'm debating whether or not to put it in my deck.

Kinda reminds me of something that happened a couple years ago. I heard a new game shop had opened up in a small plaza near where a mate of mine lived when we were at school. The wife was out Xmas shopping and said she wanted to go there to buy a gift for me, but she didn't know exactly where it was. I gave here the general area and told her to look out for the very distincitve orange sign of an appliance shop in the plaza. An hour later she calls and tells me she finally managed to find the place after being totally lost for ages. Turns out the game shop had moved into the location vacated by the old orange-sign appliance store.
