#1 susannymn Feb 21, 2009 12:49:13	So PAX, the Penny Arcade Expo, has opened its pre-registration. I'm strongly considering going, but was wondering if there's anyone here with any experience there who can discuss it. Is it worth the ticket? What kind of gaming presence will be there? Anyone else planning on going? All thoughts are appreciated.
#2 ciaran Feb 21, 2009 22:35:53	I went one day a few years ago. A few guys in my group go every year. One of them gets week passes every year. I guess it was pretty cool. You an find a place to play just about any board or tabletop game you can imagine. I didn't check out the video games. You can meet people who design games, maybe one who designed a game you play. You can go somewhere where someone in the industry will speak on a subject. Normal convention stuff. It was pretty interesting.
