Unless you sit at a table and order food too. It seems if you eat you suddenly become more trustworthy.

Aug 05, 2013 8:38:50 The bar I go to typically requires you to submit a credit card which they can run when you order anything and ask to start a tab. It's cuz peeps get wasted and walk out on tabs all the time. This way if you forget they can charge you. They don't get a tip, though. This rule does not, of course, apply to me. Funnily enough it doesn't apply in spite of the fact that back in the day I did walk out on a tab or two. Then again, they knew where I'd be either the next day or next weekend and I always paid up so it's not like I was duckin' out.

The place is multi level and the drinks are purchased downstairs. That's also where most of the consoles are.
