Or so I've heard. Can anyone provide proof or debunking?

If true... Beer-flavored Ho-Hos! And I won't even have to pay extra for that.

Beer flavored Ho-Hos? Since when is PBR considered beer?

Well, I was going to say "urine-flavored Ding-Dongs", but that wouldn't be ironic.

It wouldn't be ironic, but it would be accurate.

Hostess and PBR? A match made in heaven, that.

They could use packaging tape and put the Twinkies right on the beer can.

Call it a redneck snack or something.

Oh the possibilities...

How often do you eat out of dumpsters?

Someone who eats out of dumpsters will have tastes far too refined to even allow them to contemplate drinking PBR. Only trailer trash and hipsters are tasteless enough to drink it.

Can't say that I have, but since you're so kind to offer, what's on the menu?

Only trailer trash and hipsters are tasteless enough to drink it.

You need to find better friends.

That said, I would imagine that, unlike hipsters, trailer trash at least know how to drink PBR correctly.

Well, since the correct way to drink PBR is 'not at all', I don't think you're on the mark here.

Why I otta!

Do you prefer everything used?

Wait...you wear recycled tires on your feet.

I begin to understand.

Even the trailer bound put limits on the concept of "don't use it until it's been used". Maybe they need to spend more time swimming in the ocean? I dunno.

I remember when it was said you can't be cool if you use the internet, because nerds use the internet.

Hipsters will never enjoy an apotheosis into awesome like nerds did, but PBR will some day shed its unasked for skin of Hipster-deposited weltschmerz.

That would be possible if PBR were notable for anything aside from it's awfulness.  It's ingested, for the most part, out of irony - not a craving for its taste.  There's nothing there to lead it from the depths.  The bottom is where it belongs.

People who drink PBR aren't hipsters. They're people who want to be hipster and think hipsters drink PBR. Or they're just poor and thirsty and wanna catch a .5 hour buzz.

All the hipsters I know have aged past their poor years and now drink real beer or are still poor and drink Miller High Life.

Also, seriously, only outsiders think irony+hipsterdom are still connected.

Well we have a resident Hipster who says otherwise.  Who should we believe?  Some guy who says he knows some hipsters or the hipster we actually know?

PBR = Hipster drink, ingested ironically.

True, most of the time.

They're people who want to be hipster and think hipsters drink PBR.

Usually not true.

Sometimes they are UNICORNS.

Or they're just poor and thirsty and wanna catch a .5 hour buzz.

This.

I like whiskey with my PBR and so can you.

Also, seriously, only outsiders think irony+hipsterdom are still connected.

I just think whatever the internet tells me is true. Now I have to deal with cognitive dissonance. Thanks for that.
