(PEACH- Please Evaluate and Critique Honestly)

I have created this entirely new game that is based off of Dungeons & Dragons. It is called the Magi Chronicles RPG. Check it out!

Magi Chronicles RPG

I am putting on constant updates on the site, so it is still under construction.

If you want to, you can sign up to become a member on the Magi Chronicles RPG.

Why not put this in the house rule section. I would PEACH it, but I'm unfamiliar with 3.x.

The reason is because that doesn't really belong there. The Magi Chronicles is an entirely new game. It uses similar rules from D&D, but it is NOT D&D.

okay well I just checked it out and left a couple of comments. BTW very cool how u have it set up to send membership info. Anyway, I didn't look into it long enough to do a in depth review but it seems like its basically 3.5 ish so far from what I read. Obviously a lot of work and time went into it so I can appreciate that. The site looks okay, aside from some spelling errors but I'm no one to point fingers concerning grammer!

It is a lot to digest though so I have to read into it further to give it a real review.

Yeah- I still have a long way to go from where I have started. As long as I have completed the Races and Classes though, the easier it will be.

Yeah, the term Jedi is actually trademarked ...

If you think there's a future for your game, you'll want to change it pronto.

The Magi Chronicles is not a game that revolves around whymsical comedy or hysteria- It is an intensive combat RPG that offers alot more variety and gives you that 'never- before- seen' tactical ability that D&D has otherwise left out, for the setting of D&D is far more medieval than the Magi Chronicles.

Being able to handle guns, drive vehicles, help and harm others? Sounds like a gamer's true paradise, huh? :D

The Magi Chronicles is basically a d20 Future. Get the picture now?

Yes, you're taking yourself too seriously. :P

Seriously, your game isn't the next GURPS and you're not the next Steve Jackson. A degree of humility and humour is a necessity for an indie designer if he wants to succeed. Otherwise, you end up being impervious to constructive criticism due to having your head in the clouds. ;)

It's just something I can't help but fathom why a lot of people like to 'ruin' society. I know that Ruin is probably not a good word to say, but you know what I mean by that.

I just don't like the approach that most people have taken in society today. Everybody has become more cynical than before, and I don't know why...

You are flipping out over nothing, and you didn't respond very well to what little critique was already placed, regarding the whole Jedi thing. There are tons of other names you can come up with that fit the same basic concept. Runic Knights, ect.

You got offended by being called an indie, and are still throwing a minor tantrum for being called one.

Seriously. Chill. Don't try to deflect the conversation. Just chill. If you are going to be this sensitive, you aren't one to make an RPG. RPG's have to be critiqued BRUTALLY so that way they can be good. Multiple times. If you're going to get this upset over a few minor things, then you'll probably have a full blown explosion when someone looks at your work and points out flaws in it.

And, you also come off as slightly arrogant, because of the way that you take yourself so seriously. It's not just in this thread, but back when you were a bit more active as well.

If you ask someone to PEACH your works, you can't get angry over it, and getting upset for being called an indie (which is what you are) is just ridiculous.

EDIT: and your thing about "ruining society" is also ridiculous. Abbreviations are not the bane of society and existence. And people have always been cynics. Don't go on about how society is "so decadent" and how things were "so much better" back in the day.

I'm okay with 'flaws'- it's what makes it better.

I just thought that Cheddar Monks were a very bizarre name to call a class. A Cheddar Monk... a lot of laughs, but the name doesn't sound too appeasing for a large crowd, you know.

And I just don't want to end up like a junkie. I like being myself, rather than taking someone elses image and be like them.

I just can't stand why lots of people like to be like a famous celebrity. I guess its because they don't want to deal with everyday stress. Go figure...

Point 1: Flaws. Really? So having useless abilities makes the game better? Honestly, I think that it's better if ALL options are good. And, you want this to be critiqued. If you want parts of it to be like that, then why bother even have anyone look it over?

Point 2: The Cheddar Monk thing is obviously a joke. You need a better sarcasm detector.

Point 3: Junkie? Wait. I never talked about you going out to get a fix. Another case of over-reaction from you here. From your posts, you have your set "vision" of how the world should be, and anyone who deviates from your view is "immoral" and it's "society's fault"

Point 4: When did anyone act like a celebrity? I didn't see that happening. You're just reverting to your argument about how society is so horrible.

Example: A lot of girls like Hannah Montana, right? There are some of those fans that want to be like her.

You get where I'm going with that, right?

Drugs have a big influence on today's society. I solely blame it on the Drug dealers and those that produce the drugs. Obviously, they are made for medicinal purposes, but what about Cigarrettes, or Alcohol? Those weren't made for medicinal purposes- they were made for enjoyment- for that split second high. Who would like to pay for something that only gives them that slpit second good feeling? To me, that's a lot of money down the drain. That is what I do not want to be- a person that has a craving for drugs. That's my definition of a Junkie- someone who craves drugs.

Yes, I get your point, but it has no relevance to the current discussion. I merely pointed out that you come off as arrogant, and then you create a self defense argument involving drugs, wannabe's and other things like that.

True, but the Jedi in the Magi Chronicles have different abilities than the ones in Star Wars. Plus, different races occupy the role of Jedi in the Magi Chronicles.
