Agreed. Total copout, lazy writing and just very, very sad in comparison to all that came before. They kept talking about how they wanted to end it on their terms so that they could do a great job of it but instead blew the opportunity. They seemed lost in their own plot complexities and unable to find a decent way to tie things up. So what we got was what we got - garbage.
