| #2zombie_babiesJul 30, 2012 8:29:51 | He probably wasn't high enough. Anyhoo, who cares? Doesn' that dood have enough medals already? |
| #3homicidal_squirrelJul 31, 2012 2:01:31 | Yup, he has enough medals. Besides, it's swimming. |
| #4zombie_babiesJul 31, 2012 8:54:41 | And swimming is stupid. Well, it's not. It's just stupid to watch and cheer for. Wow ... those people ... ![]() Anyhoo, why would anyone be upset he didn't win? Like, what's the point in even watching if he wins every single time? That's only cool when it's like Anderson Silva or Jon Jones. Cuz they don't swim. They destroy people. And that's entertainment. |

There would be arems and legs floating in the blood red water. By the way, did you hear that Nick Diaz wants to come back and fight Anderson Silva? I would love to see that fight, but you know they would never allow an execution to be aired on pay-per-view. |

I would love to see that fight, but you know they would never allow an execution to be aired on pay-per-view. Yeah, I saw somethin' about that the other day. I don't think Silva's camp will agree, though. Maybe. If they do, it'll be interesting to see if the call Nick a cheater since they called Chael one. Nick's failed a few tests. 'Course his failed tests weren't for too much test. ;) Anyhoo, if it did go down - and would Dana trust Nick to do all the PR crap that a fight like that would demand - it would be a pretty spectacular fail for Nick, I imagine. If you wanna see Silva pushed, it's pretty clear that you need a wrestler. And a damned good one, too. Nick is a BJJ guy that's too in love with his MMA good jab. If he tried that pitter patter crap against Silva, I think Silva would literally laugh him out of the cage. I just don't see it as even remotely close. |

It would be a one-sided beatdown... but it would be a spectacular beatdown of such epic proportions that it must be done. There really isn't anyone left that is going to challenge Silva. He may as well take the fight. I'm sure the pay-per-view buys would be through the roof. You get to see Silva take on a completely overmatch, undesized opponent. Think about it. Diaz thinks he can stand and bang with Silva. I would love him to try just to see Silva put him down. |
| #8zombie_babiesAug 01, 2012 7:54:52 | Oh yeah, I'd be down if they made this fight happen. It'd be awesome. And it may shut up the Diaz brothers and their fanboys for a bit, too. ![]() |
| #9homicidal_squirrelAug 01, 2012 8:53:27 | Oh yeah, I'd be down if they made this fight happen. It'd be awesome. And it may shut up the Diaz brothers and their fanboys for a bit, too. Maybe this time Nick will be retired. His fanboys will still foam at the mouth while ranting about his awesomeness. But yeah, this would be a fight to see. Well, not much of a fight, but it would just be awesome. Did you ever see a show called Joes VS Pros? They would put these guys that may have played sports os something back in college against some retired athletes. The had Randy Coutere on there when he had retired his first time. They put him against some guy. It was brutal. Couture seemed like such a nice guy at first. Then he tried to rip the guys spinal cord out with his bare hands. I think that's how the Silva VS Diaz fight would go. |
| #10zombie_babiesAug 01, 2012 9:29:40 | I never watched much of that show ... but that episode happens to be one I saw. How many times did he tap those guys? And he isn't even a submission guy. Nasty. ![]() Silva will have to finish Nick, though, so we don't hear how he was robbed by his internet militia - and his coach, brother and entire camp. I don't think that'll be a problem, though. Meh, Nick really is pretty good. He's just not nearly Silva good. And he's way too small to get in there with a man that's KO'd LHWs. |
| #11homicidal_squirrelAug 01, 2012 9:57:20 | I never watched much of that show ... but that episode happens to be one I saw. How many times did he tap those guys? And he isn't even a submission guy. Nasty. Yeah, he went to work on those guys. It was like watching a grown man beat up toddlers. Silva will have to finish Nick, though, so we don't hear how he was robbed by his internet militia - and his coach, brother and entire camp. I don't think that'll be a problem, though. Meh, Nick really is pretty good. He's just not nearly Silva good. And he's way too small to get in there with a man that's KO'd LHWs. I'm pretty sure Nick wouldn't make it out of the second round. And the way he would look afterwards would be good enough to put in some monster movie. His face would be wrecked. Diaz seems to cut easily and get bruised up. His brain seems to be able to take a punch, but his face can't. He has fought guys that aren't anywhere near the level of striking Silva is at and come out looking like someone took a baseball bat to his face. Imagine what his face would look like after a Silva fight. Silva on the other hand would look exactly as he always does. That guy has amazing skin. He doesn't cut, and he doesn't bruie. Even in the first Sonnen fight Silva looked like he always does. He took some pretty bad shots too, but didn't show it after the fight. As for Nick's skills... meh... he's okay. His striking isn't that great. He has good BJJ, but nothing extraordinary. A while back he was supposed to take on some BJJ champion in some non-MMA competiton. Diaz didn't even show up. He got scared, homie. At best I'd say his BJJ is good enough to help him if he gets in trouble, but not as good as he thinks it is. He won't be able to take someone like Silva down. He'd have even less of a chance of taking GSP down. To take Silva down you need some crazy Sonnen level wrestling. The only reason people think Diaz's striking is so good is because he throws such a high volume of punches. The guy has great cardio. That is one thing you can't knock about the guy. He can go all five rounds without a problem. But he has no strategy. He just walks forwad, eats a bunch of punches, throws a lot more, and hopes that he can hit hard enough to knock the other guy out. That would be the worst plan against Silva. I mean, it would be great to se him try it and get his face caved in, but seriously, what chance does that have of giving Silva any trouble? Look at what he did to Forrest Griffin. Silva droped Griffin several times before knocking him to the ground while moving away. And while Forrest isn't the best fighter, he does have an ablit to absorb punishment. However, that last punch just took it out of him and he waved for the fight to stop. Diaz would probably be too stupid to give up and get Silva's version of the Hendo Bomb Bisping got. |
| #12zombie_babiesAug 01, 2012 11:45:47 | Yeah, Diaz has insane cardio but, like you say, it won't mean anything against Silva. If you can't take the man down I don't think you can beat him. At least we haven't seen anyone yet with the striking ability that would take. I doubt Nick would even hit him much at all. He's so evasive. Odds are Nick would get frustrated - like he always does - and start talkin' smack an' doin' the dumb stuff the Diaz brothers are known for like walking forward with his hands down to make a statement or whatever. Meh, I kinda wonder how good the fight would actually be. I can't see Silva taking him seriously. It may end up another Cote style fight with Silva actin' like a bigger idiot than Nick ever could just to keep himself amused. |

It would gie Silva the opportunity to show off some of his skills. Diaz would get frustrated and drop his hands and stick his chin out to Silva. Silva would do some amazing kick or punch or elbow. The only two fighters I'd like to see Diaz fight more than Silva would be Jon Jones and Junior Dos Santos. |

| #17homicidal_squirrelAug 02, 2012 17:24:21 | The NSAC, for one. What are you talking about? They love the guy. He keeps having to pay fines. The NSAC is loving it. They woud be even more in love if Diaz managed to get a fight with Silva and the pay day that would bring Diaz the NSAC. |

Dana white just had to spoil all the fun. Dana is a bald . Seriously, though, he's 100% right. The fight made no sense to anyone outside of Diaz, Gracie and the Diaz fanboys. |
| #20homicidal_squirrelAug 03, 2012 7:52:09 | And people that wanted to see Diaz murdered. |
| #21zombie_babiesAug 03, 2012 8:13:12 | Oh yeah. How could I forget about us? ![]() |
