Yeah, that was my second play-through.  It actually tainted my third.  I went all smarty-pants the first time so I thought I'd go all kill-kill the second.  Unfortunately, that got me smote.  Sos I used that knowledge to go all kill-kill and not get smote.  Overall, it's a damned fun li'l timewaster.

#16 zombie_babies Jan 13, 2010 9:04:00	It appears that I did not piss off any gods by letting  people worship me... From what I can tell, it seems that they don't smite ya until you're at Blasphemy 3.  In other words, you can do 2 of the things that may anger the gods, but not all.  Or so it seems.

I remember I had a pretty sizable hoard (not as much as Ellorin but enough to get by) but lacked a mate. Being worshiped You can allow the people to worship you and not gain blasphemy. You simply act like you don't care and are just using their religion for monetary benefits (meaning you realise you are not a god, just a manipulator)

#20 zombie_babies Jan 13, 2010 13:59:40	I had one.  I had her move in with me.  It then warned me about how I'd have to be extra vigilant when she went into hibernation - only to never mention her again.  That playthrough I went with the brutish, kill-kill method, chose to hunt for a mate, chose the smart black dragon and impressed her by leveling a town.  Worked that time anyway.  Oh, I'm pretty sure I lost wealth when I went and found her, too.
#21 EscherEnigma Jan 13, 2010 14:03:01	Hrm... I got the black one by challenging him to a game of wits and winning without cheating.  And since I used my spies to find 'em, I didn't lose any wealth.  'course, I was cunning that time, so that helped with my chosen method.
#22 zombie_babies Jan 13, 2010 14:05:11	I only really tried to get one the one time it worked.  The other times I either said forget it or went with the lazy approach.  Maybe I'll play once and try to get one with Cunning.
