...I'm a man of wealth and taste.

Hey all, been lurking here for a couple weeks now and thought I'd post to say hello.  My name is Jason, and I've been playing D&D since around 1983.  Although, admittantly I haven't played since High School, around 1991.  I'm looking to get back into it with 4E. Certainly a lot has changed since 2E, when I got my start...where the hell are my saving throws, and why can't I be a chaotic neutral Ninja?  Anyhow, the hardest part for me now is to find a group in my area that I don't have to travel 20-25 miles to get to.  So, I'm off to search for one.  C-ya. Are you the very model of a modern major general?

... moving on, not sure if it'll help you or not, but the forums does the the Gamer's Classifieds.  [link]  Might try your luck there.

Well, I rode a tank and held a general's rank, if that answers your question. Wink

Thanks for the link.

Greetings. Don't mind the smoke, I just razed a town, nothing to get worked up about.

Don't bother. It's a load of trash.

I suggest that you try Pathfinder instead.

Anyway, good to meet you.

And EE... I hate you getting this song to return to my mind...

Well, I think 4E will be right up my ally.  See, when I played 2E we didn't "roleplay."  We attacked monster, we told DM what we were going to do, we rolled dice to see if it worked.  I didn't spout out phrases like, "I will smite the dragon with my Vorpal Weapon."  I merely said, "My character will will attack the dragon with his +5 Vorpal Weapon."  So, 4E sort of brings back what D&D was to me.
